Jason Stone is incredible! We had received an email(!) from our landlords to vacate our rent controlled property within 30 days for no reason (this is also during the eviction moratorium and we have never missed or been late with rent). Even knowing that this is illegal, we were stressed and scared. We contacted Stone & Sallus to help us understand our rights and take action if needed. Karen and Jason were so kind and a pleasure to speak to. They immediately made us feel better and understood. Our landlords ended up rescinding their notice to vacate (I guess they learned how to google LA tenant laws) but Jason still reached out to us on his own accord and helped us craft an email to ensure our rights are protected moving forward. This is one of the good guys. Would recommend him with complete confidence in both his knowledge of Tenants Law and his empathy and compassion. Those are hard to come by these days. Search no further.
