Shannon Foley did an excellent job in settling my dispute. We avoided a trial and I was able to receive significant dollars owed in my dispute. Shannon is upfront and realistic about a case and its merit. She is very knowledgeable, experienced and thorough in her approach. Shannon is a tough negotiator, but operates honestly and with the highest level of integrity. Through the roller coaster ride back and forth between sides, Shannon was able to provide me confidence and surety as to our strategy for the case, risks involved and ultimately to an acceptable settlement. Although I was not completely pleased, I would recommend Ms. Foley because she was personable, engaged (during the various times we met) and knowledgeable of what to do. She seems to be very ethical and honest. However, she was a bit scattered and was not as responsive as I expected - seemed to do things at the very last minute. Possibly juggling too much? This was concerning when the case had specific time limits. Her hourly rate is high, yet she gives you 100% of her attention during the consultation and follow-up meeting(s). She seemed to understand various aspects of the situation quickly.

Attorney Foley is extraordinary. She is an expert in her field and is very professional; yet remains sensitive to the needs of her clients. I would not have survived my dilemma without her. I recommend her with high enthusiasm and without reservation.

Shannon is trustworthy and has a lot of integrity. She gives you honest, intelligent advice and counsel, and follows through on everything she says. If she says she will do somethings, you can trust that she will. She understands shy and when you need to take depositions. Take her advice - it is solid. She is extremely intelligent, detail-oriented, and diligent. If she tells you (as a client) to do something, it may be difficult to do, but she's asking you to do it to help your case. She always has your best interests at heart. That isn't always true with some attorneys. Her attention to detail is why she wins so many cases. These qualities do not exist in many attorneys, but they do with her. She promptly returns telephone calls and e-mails. The colleagues she may associate you with are excellent, too. I highly recommend her as an attorney. She won a huge case for me that took her years to deal with - including litigation and appeals. She is a fighter and will fight for you!

Shannon hired my appellate law firm to defend the $2.95 million verdict she had obtained in the Conney v UC Regents case when the defendant appealed. As a result, I saw firsthand the excellent case she had pulled together and tried through the verdict and new trial motions. Her work was top-notch.
