I could not have been more pleased with the outcome of my recent insurance settlement. Michael thoroughly reviewed my case that comprised of background information and history covering 6 years of documentation between the insurance company and myself. I found Michael to be extremely sharp and knowledgeable. He was honest and straightforward about possible outcomes and kept me informed every step of the way. During the process I saw him as a strong and skillful negotiator, ultimately negotiating a settlement I would not have gotten on my own. I highly recommend Michael and his team!

Won't accept my case, all these medical malpractice lawyers don't seem to think I'm worth their time.

Outstanding service for their clients! I have been in an Erisa suit against an unnamed disability company for 6+ years after by back was fractured during an mva. I hired Donahue & Horrow after the first 2 law firms just wanted to settle with the disability insurance company. Michael actually flew up to Sacramento, Ca and met with me to discuss my case in person. He answered all my questions and was NO pressure. He said to go over their firms' documents, then sign them at a later date and call if I had any questions. I had a couple questions and they answered them immediately. After the signing there were allot of documents needed to continue with my case, which is expected in an Erisa case. I had one meeting with the disability company, in which they wanted to settle. I told them no and that I wanted to be put on claim, that was the end of the meeting. The case went to federal trial in 2020 and my own occupation period was settled in my favor Jan 2022. Donahue and Horrow stayed with me for 4 years and only did what I had asked, not like the prior 2 law firms that wanted to settle. They are an excellent, honest, dedicated law firm with outstanding communication to ensure their clients get the best outcome. I know I did and if I ever need an Erisa disability firm again, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

In 2019 my son suffered an injury at birth. In addition to this being one of the hardest moments of our lives the idea of having to relive it through a legal process was beyond frightening. Once we got home from the hospital, I started reaching out to attorneys about my sons’ situation. We had several firms return our calls to talk through the merits of our case, however, only one of them called and first asked about our son, how he was doing, how my wife and I were holding up. Tom was the only one to start the conversation with a genuine concern for our well-being. After my first conversation with him I knew in my gut that Tom was the representation we needed. Every conversation we had with him, or anyone on his team, always started with compassion. That said, they were also tenacious with our case and built an amazing team of experts and specialists to help push our case forward with a positive outcome. Tom assured that my family would have the resources to get my son the care he needs and give my wife and I hope and peace of mind. My family is eternally grateful to Tom, Nichole, Rosa, and the entire team at Donahue and Horrow.

I was represented better than I could have ever imagined. My lawyer is Tom and words can't describe how amazing and such a hardworking person he is. Rosa beautiful soul ever in the law firm my needs where put first and was treated as a friend rather than a number. My opinions were valued and my doubts were always reassured. My nerves were calmed and the process was always explained. [My attorney] Tom fought hard for me. He went above and beyond and did everything he could to ensure a great outcome. I couldn't have asked for a better law firm or attorney. Thanks guys!!!”by the way I won my case 😊 justice was served THANK YOU GUYS!

This attorney was contacted to represent my sister, an adult nurse, who suffered permanent neurological impairment for a brain infection that went undetected for several days while in a Southern California Hospital. As a physician myself, I recognized the failure to properly diagnose and implement appropriate therapy. As a result, a prolonged hospital stay, seizure disorder, memory impairment and inability to speak properly occurred. During this hospitalization I had three detailed telephone conversations with this attorney who agreed to represent my sister. After she was sent home on intravenous medication and a feeding tube, she struggled with her recovery and was unable to satisfy the office with a prompt signature of the retainer agreement that was sent to her home. A few weeks later, and while still incapacitated and recovering, this attorney sent a letter to my sister indicating that he would no longer represent her. When I heard of this I called the attorney on his private cell and asked for a call back and explanation. Two day's later, and without any call back to my inquiry, I contacted his office for an explanation and was told my sister did not sign the retainer agreement in the timeframe the attorney typically desires. Instead of attempting to assist my disabled sister, confused and neurologically impaired, he instead chose not to represent her without contacting me, his referral for the case. Thomas Donahue did not even having the professional courtesy to return my call or provide me with an explanation. Based upon my experience with this attorney, if compassion, commitment and communication are important elements one desires in a malpractice attorney, I would urge any prospective client to seek assistance elsewhere.
