I have used the services of Jonathan Stein multiple times. I very much appreciate that he is not just an attorney, but a sounding board for reasonable decisions. Not every situation warrants legal action and sometimes we need to be reminded of that fact. It speaks to his level of character to not take every case and I appreciate his honesty.

Zero consultation, bad-attitude or otherwise, and he's terse, rude. Jon talks a good line about helping people, how much he enjoys helping people. And fair enough that he can't or won't work with everyone, but he's quick to be surly and dismissive, duplicitous enough that it's reasonable to wonder if he's credible. Oh by the way, directly from his site: "Not everyone needs an attorney and I will tell you that as well. But if you do, I can provide you with a range of options and will give you an estimated cost during your free consultation." He's not exactly saying, "If I can't or won't help you, I'll be quick and brusque in making that clear." That said, w. his attitude and questionable credibility, I'm probably better off to take my money elsewhere.

Jonathan Stein is by far the best. He always answered his phone/email promptly, you always get to speak to him directly which was so much easier than dealing with a secretary, waiting for a return call etc. He always answered all my questions clearly. I was dreading dealing with my legal "situation" but once I contacted Jonathan, he put my mind at ease, figured out an angle and had it resolved quickly, efficiently and fair.
