April 2020. My 21 year old Son went for a jog and was confronted/harassed by (5) LA County Park Rangers @ 2:23 PM in the afternoon, to where my Son felt the need to protect himself (Self Defense). He was then arrested and being charged with the following counts: 1. PC 245 (a)(4) - Assault. Likely to produce Great Bodily Injury. 2. PC Section 69 - Resisting an Executive Officer. 3. PC Section 69 - Resisting an Executive Office. 4. PC (b) - Battery against a Peace Officer I contacted Hedding Law Firm in Encino, Mr. Ron Hedding handled a case for my other Son in 2011. So Mr. Hedding immediately called me back and took all my Son's information. I meet with him that following Saturday morning at his office. Mr. Hedding had all my Son's information and we discussed the case and Mr. Hedding said Don't worry, he is on it. I felt VERY reassured. My Son's case was held at The Los Angeles County Superior Court, San Fernando Courthouse, where the Prosecutors are known for opting to file felony charges for offenses that, by law, could have been classified as misdemeanors. Through the process of the case; My Son was offered a deal as follows: Accept 2 felony charges, 2 years' probation and 30 days of community labor. I then spoke with Mr. Hedding and asked? How can my Son go out for a jog and come back with 2 FELONY charges and he does NOT have a record. So Mr. Hedding reply lets go through the Preliminary hearing..... On that day Mr. Hedding did what he is GREAT at and got all Felony charges dropped to (1) misdemeanor. My Son also accepted 2 years' summary probation and 30 day of community labor. Hedding Law Firm does their job and does it well. I would not hesitate to recommend Hedding Law Firm for any Criminal situation you or your love one is facing.

I am a colleague of Mr. Weinrieb and have worked with him on a number of cases over the years. Mr. Weinrieb is an excellent lawyer who works tirelessly on behalf of his clients. He is very aggressive, and thorough in his approach and won’t leave one stone unturned in trying to achieve the best results possible for his clients. A while ago, I referred Mr. Weinrieb one of my client’s sons, who was only 19 years old, and was facing a serious armed robbery case. The public defender who represented him wanted him to take a deal of 15 years to life in prison. Fortunately, Mr. Weinrieb took over the case. He believed in the innocence of his client, who insisted he had nothing to do with it. Mr. Weinrieb dug up the cell phone tower records and proved that the client wasn’t even there! The District Attorney immediately dismissed the case and now his innocent client is a free man. If it weren't for Mr. Weinrieb, this young man's life, as well as the life of his family would have been ruined, and he would still be in prison today. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Weinrieb if you want the best representation possible, and someone who will believe in you.
