Everything inside of me wants to leave a one star review, but ill give credit where due, which was for the most part responsiveness, but other than that, If you need an attorney for landlord / tenant disputes, look elsewhere. Alex took on my case for an unlawful detainer, knowing well that I had a habitability lawsuit pending against my landlord with another attorney. (the other attorney does not handle U.D cases) At the trial, the landlords agent and I went back and forth with demands and expectations, where we finally agreed to terms. Not being familiar to legal process, or jargon, Alex assured me this was a good deal, and I trusted his judgement and his advise. Fast forward 3 weeks, and I had discovered that the document I signed with him had literally waived my rights to damages and that me signing that agreement, essentially cost me my other case. In addition, my security deposit was not returned to me as Alex had advised, because the verbiage on the agreement was vague. There were no consequences for / to the landlord for this. When bringing this up to Alex, his solution to fix this issue was to charge me 850$ to go and file small claims documents to pursue something that he insisted I would get back. I didnt feel represented at all. If anything Id be far more ahead representing myself. Horrible experience.
