Walking in with a friend in serous legal trouble and feeling quite anxious and stressed, I was initially warmly welcomed and put at ease by Sidney and Jessica. I was quickly invited to speak with the firm’s founder, Darren Kavinoky, about this pressing legal situation. In the conference room filled with plaques and awards reflective of his excellence in law, we shared our story. Darren promptly advised and assured us that he would be able to handle things so as to relieve us of our discomfort. My very first time needing legal counsel!! In the beginning I was nervous about my son being treated as simply a statistic, and I was missing the 'Personal' touch. While I understand the 'Team' concept at Kavinoky Law - I wasn't prepared to hear that another lawyer would now be representing my son right after the first hearing! Why?? Nobody explained it. I did the work to find alternative sentencing options such as rehab, not our initial lawyer; and felt as though if I knew the Penal code - I could've uttered the few sentences to the judge that he did! All of a sudden, I get an email stating we'll have a new attorney!! Can you say 'Nervous as hell or What the hell is it now?' All of that stress vanished when my son and I met THOMAS TAM!!
