My husband and I hired Michelle Blair for a very difficult child custody case and it was the best decision we could have made. I’ve never seen a more dedicated attorney. She genuinely cared about our issues and our children’s welfare. Michelle always made time for us, and when we were stressed out she remained calm and used her knowledge and experience to resolve out concerns. She even had to combat a very dishonest, blowhard opposing counsel and handled him very confidently and respectfully, which really earned our respect and confidence. Michelle Blair, Joy, and the entire group at Blair family law firm is the best team ANY individual could ever ask or hire for. They went above and beyond and covered concerns I would have never even thought about in the first place. Michelle and Joy are a great team. Michelle is brilliant and very thorough. She knows the law, and is also very familiar with the judges and how things work in the courthouse nearby. She helped me get my move-away approved quickly by presenting my case in the best way possible. She even got me a better deal than I was initially hoping for. Joy is also very knowledgeable and was able to answer many of my questions throughout the process. They almost always answered the phone when I called or got back to me very quickly. When I met with Michelle I told her I was looking for a new attorney because my current one would not respond to my questions, would not educate me, and was vacuuming dollars out of my pocket faster than I could put them back in. By the time I decided I had to divorce my husband due to ongoing infidelity and abuse, I was an absolute wreck. Luckily a friend recommended Michelle. During my initial (free) consultation, she asked a lot of pertinent questions and explained to me my options, but most importantly she LISTENED. She was very kind and caring - but was very careful not to let me derail things into a therapy session, which people are wont to do when going through something as emotional as a divorce. (And many lawyers are happy to let you yak away and bill you for every minute of it). Her prices were very reasonable. My (now) ex-husband is cunning, intelligent, ruthless and intimidating. If it wasn't for Michelle, I would have been trampled and taken advantage of. She is so lovely and pleasant you'd hardly know the Pit Bull that lurks inside her. But my husband met the Pit Bull part and was taken aback at how hard she fought for me. She also doesn't take advantage of her clients by padding the bill or running up her billable hours by taking longer to get things done than she needs to. She gave me solid advice, answered my questions in layman's terms and always responded quickly. She fought for me tooth and nail and while I had to make compromises, she led me through that minefield so I ended up with what was most important to me. I have made it through to the "other side" now and am happy living my "new normal". I don't think I would have made it through the most horrific year of my life, without Michelle and I highly recommend her.

Michelle Blair was an excellent attorney. We had a sensitive situation and it was important to us that someone who cared, took care of us.
