Professional, and to the point, top notch family lawyer, doesn't lead you on

I paid good money and Rory failed to provide rudimentary legal advice, a court reporter, or to even inform me of the law, let alone let allow the judge to violate the code of judicial ethics, and let my unrepresented ex out-menouver time and again. Since Rory took all my money, I now have to take the judge to court unrepresented, and sue my lawyer who everyone said was "best lawyer in town" while my child resides on another continent.

Staff apparently not kept up to date on new changes made in some legal proceedings. New bill in effect Sept. 1st 2019 changed how days are counted for answering unlawful detainer. They had NO CLUE...

Ben is your guy. I had another lawyer before hiring Ben, and that was my mistake. This other lawyer was well known in the local Humboldt community but honestly he didn't actually do much other than tell me how much experience he had, and then told me he had a "conflict" and told me he couldn't represent me anymore. When Ben took over my case he told me I should be prepared for a fight. To be honest, I thought I might be in for more of the same (all talk no walk). I was wrong. Within a month, Ben had an offer from the other insurance company that was more than I expected. When we met to tell me, I assumed we were done, but Ben told me he thought my case was worth more. A year later, because of Ben, I got 4X what the insurance company first offered me. I'll tell everyone I know to hire Ben Mainzer!
