When my wife and I were looking for a trust attorney we interviewed four different attorneys. We were most impressed by Justin Gilbert's breath and depth of knowledge. He listened carefully to our needs and requirements and he recommend we create a grant trust for our taxable assets and retirement trust for our pretax assets. He was the only attorney who was knowledgable about retirement trust and the benefits such trust would offer. Justin put in writing the scope of the services he would perform and the terms under which he would do so. I am a very detailed person, I read every word of the documents and I require that I understand everything in the trusts. Justin sent me articles that helped explain why the particularly trusts were important and the terms that should be incorporated into each trust. I had many questions once I read the trust documents drafted by Justin and suggested changes that I thought were important. Justin answered all my questions to my satisfaction and readily agreed to make changes that I wished to make. At no time did Justin show impatience with my requests or inquiries. We held a number of extensive meetings both in his office and by email and phone. Justin always met his commitments to deliver draft documents or changes there to. There will come a time when our children will need an attorney's services to settle our estate in accordance with the terms of our trusts. My instructions to them is to employ and depend on Justin's services. I highly recommend Justin to anyone who needs trust attorney. As a side note, we had a trust drafted by another attorney five years ago. That trust now resides in the trash can. I am very hard to please because I like perfection. That is what I pay for and Justin delivered.
