Love our estate attny Zev. He's very accessible, quick and professional. I had a complicated trust and he kept things structured and simplified. Zev also found and offered to correct our old deed that needed an additional phrase adjustment to legally safeguard any future tax assessment upon title transfer. His process is so dialed in, that he will likely drive to you with a notary on-site and also getting the recording done himself are all worth our time and energy saved for any client. I am pleased to write a favorable review for Zev Brooks our attorney who prepared a Family Trust for my wife and I. Zev was recommended to us by a close friend and it turned out it was the best recommendation we ever received. Zev is exceedingly competent, highly personable, and honest. He is easy to work with and has an uncanny ability to explain what often appeared to us as undecipherable legal jargon into common sense understandable language. Our interaction with Zev took place over three meetings. Two were virtual and the final one was in person along with a notary for document signing. Our meetings were always on-time and efficient with enough time allotted to deal with all issues. At each step Zev was meticulous in explaining all the nuances of the Trust document. First thing's first, Zev answered the phone, live and in person. I had a probate question and instead of scheduling an appointment, which is what I thought was going to happen, he started asking me questions and then started explaining in detail what the law is and what my rights are. He was professional, offered to give me a referral if litigation becomes a possibility, and handled my multiple interruptions with grace. Turns out, my case will probably not need to be litigated, nor will I need a lawyer - great to hear from an actual lawyer! I don't think many people expect such forthright advice and treatment.
