Karen and Roxy at Anthoor law group helped us with our estate plan. They are very responsive, very reasonable and very thorough in the process. The overall estate planning process went very smoothly, Karen explained us the process, asked some basic information and then took care of everything else. Karen and her team are very professional and very responsible group, they always have clients best interest in mind. Santa-Clara county ask for lot of papers multiple times, but we never had to deal with County officials, Karen and her worked with them and shielded us from all the hassle. Couldn't have found a better team for our estate plan, Overall Anthoor law group have my highest recommendations for Estate planning.

I had a collision and so went to Swapna cause I thought being a lawyer of Indian origin she will be highly informed and my case will be well handled. Big Mistake !!! I signed the contract with them for which they have a 33% commission clause (however, because I went with MetLaw plan, they gave me 25% and told me it's a big deal. I found out later that 25% is what every other lawyer accepts). I gave them detailed info telling them about my injuries and property damage and gave them the police report. 01 - Surprise: After a week of exchange of mails, and visits I get news that in CA, you need to have valid insurance at the time of accident and so I can't claim bodily injury which is the biggest portion of an accident case. Are you kidding me, they are the lawyers right, and they didn't know this when advising me of my legal options ? They said they didn't know cause all client of theirs always have valid insurance ... and I was like ... ummmm ... huh !!! ??? Had I known this earlier, I would never even have filed for a case since there is hardly a reason to then ... 02 - Bigger Surprise: The police report clearly states that I was going 35 and the other guy was going 25 and they other guy's insurance says I'm 30% at fault because I was going fast. When I asked Anthoor Law group how can they say I was fast, they said cause the other guy said so ... ??? Seriously ??? they couldn't even negotiate this being my lawyer when all evidence is in my favor ... the DMV guidelines for motorcycle clearly state that you should be at max 10 miles more than the traffic speed and that I was, and this was on a 65 zone ... 03 - Even Bigger Surprise: Swapna advised me to go to Small Claims Court. 1st she said that they will only charge filing fee which will be a couple of hundred dollars and I will have to go to court by myself and fight. And then informed me they will be charging 15% for filing ... I requested they take 10% which Swapna very reluctantly agreed (she's all about the money as one other reviewer states ...) 04 - Biggest Surprise The above was in April ... In June, I followed up and found out that my case hasn't even been filed as of yet. They simply forgot about my case completely and never ever even tried to follow up with me or send me any updates. I was surprised when I emailed them and got this reply. I replied back with a stink mail to which I got a reply stating that "Swapna will reply back soon" ... 05 - The Ultimate Height of Surprise All I was expecting was an apology, but what I got was a smelly lengthy email from Swapna stating that their department has worked a lot for my case, and that she was unhappy with the 10% arrangement and that they would not like to pursue my case and that I should look for legal representation elsewhere. What the ... ? I was like Waaaaaooooo I asked them to drop my case immediately and inform the insurance firm which they promptly did so thank god for that. This experience with Anthoor Law Group and with Swapna has been the worst that one could ever ask for. I don't think they are qualified to handle a newspaper so leave aside lawyer services. I'm just glad that they are not representing me for an important case of my life cause I'm sure I will lose even if the odds are in my favor with them. So do yourself a favor and steer clear of Swapna and her Law Group. Find yourself a real lawyer who knows what they are doing and who care for you and your case and not just how much money they can make off you !!!

I'm very pleased with Anthoor law group's service, especially Ms. Swapna Anthoor. She is very through, professional and meticulous during the entire process of preparing our Living Trust, Will, Power of Attorney, HIPPA authorization, Financial Power of Attorney and etc. We are very glad we chose Ms. Swapna for our estate planning and will definitely recommend others to go with her firm.
