I agree with all the previous reviews. Additionally, both, Jon and Ramona, are understanding and personable. They concisely answered all my questions and effectively executed all my requests in a timely manner.

We read the previous reviews and agree with their truth in our own experience. We can't add that much without repeating others. Jon was thorough in asking pertinent questions while we made some difficult decisions. We feel confident in having chosen Jon Petty to help us make those decisions we procrastinated in following through on by finally creating a Family Trust. Most of all, we appreciate that Jon is compassionate and cares about the clients he advises. Ramona is an essential part of this team and appreciate her kindness and detailed work ethic. When critiquing someone's performance I try to be as fair as possible to the person being evaluated and yet be helpful to those who may rely upon the evaluation to make an informed decision. With that being said, rarely do I submit an evaluation where there is not some mention of an area where there could be improvement, as well as the areas where the performance exceeded my expectations. However, in the case of Jon and his paralegal Ramona their performance was flawless from start to finish. Both of them were professional, informed, personable, and easily assessable to answer questions. Ultimately they delivered a well-prepared product in a timely manner and at a fair price. Based upon my experience I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

The estate plan Jon created for my family put my mind at ease and allowed me to enter very personal messages to my children. In the event something should happen to me, I left detailed instructions for their successor guardian, including why I picked them. He also created a detailed health care directive for me which included whether or not I wanted DNR. What I find sad is, people may not realize that some costly estate plans do not work. There are pitfalls with “cookie-cutter” and do-it-yourself documents and outdated plans. My plan with Jon was highly customized to fit my needs and he and his staff ensured my assets were properly titled to my trust.
