Chelsea Pistone is the Family Law Attorney I refer to & have seen MANY of my network refer & go to her as well. I rarely post reviews for any business on any platform, however, while searching for a lawyer that would help me resolve a contentious custody battle for my children, I found Megan with Irwin & Irwin law firm, and felt compelled to write this review. While researching Irwin & Irwin, I read mixed reviews online, and after meeting with Megan, I knew she would be fair, caring, and tenacious enough to help me resolve our contentious issues with grace. Megan and the Irwin & Irwin team were exactly what we needed to get our contentious custody case, and family relationship back in order. She helped me decide exactly what I wanted, and what I was willing to negotiate for. Her positive personality helped with mediating our agreement, and she was very fair in regards to billing without drying out my well. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MEGAN THOMPSON TO HELP RESOLVE YOUR CUSTODY CASES- only if you don't want to live the rest of your life in court, spending every last dime you have, and living in misery from aggressive attorneys creating discontent and aggravating issues to the point of stalemate. Ronda was not the sharpest tool in the shed. Horrible. I called her for her free 15 minute consultation and she did listen what I had to say and I made an appointment with her for an hour meeting to speak about my case. She was charging me $400 for the hour which I took and regretted it. We literally met for 8 minutes and I was explaining my case and we were having a productive meeting until she told me that in my case if I didn't think the decision was fair I won't not be able to appeal the decision. I've been fighting in court 6 times already to have visitation with my 5 year old son that my ex took away from me more then 2 years ago. Her advice to me was to not appeal my case in family court. Which means I would lose in court and I would not see my son. Her advice was to just accept the decision and not do anything. No appeal nothing just accept that I won't see my son. At that moment I heard her advice I packed up my belongings and told her she was completely wrong and I left her $200 dollars which I'm really regret for doing but I'm going to make those 200 dollars worth it. Ronda you need to retire and advise no one on any kind of advice in any family matters. Just retire. Start knitting. I'm sure plenty of good parents mothers and fathers have lost precious time with their kids because of you. There's tons of case laws that show appeals won in the Supreme Court of California but Ronda advice was to just not do nothing. I should have brought some examples to the meeting. She's a rookie attorney or she was acting like one for what... THE RETAINER💰💰💰 Sad. Please if your reading my review please go do your own research before hiring any attorney. P.S. Ronda before I left your office I asked you "How many cases do you have currently on your work load?" You said "Like 60 cases." I currently have just one! So do you think I'm not going to spend 24/7 on one case? Yes because he's my son! I want to be his everyday dad not just some guy he sees on the weekend. When I win this case per se I'm going to send you a copy of the findings and orders with an invoice for those $200 dollars.

Excellent. Honest, caring, professional, they have your back. I have used two attorneys in the past and interviewed eight more with my eighteen year divorce. Irwin and Irwin are by far better than any other attorney firm I used in the past or interviewed. Integrity is priority number one with them. Character counts and they have it.

With a long term [30+year] marriage, a shared business and home, and neglect/addiction in the household, making the decision to divorce was not easy and I had to put a lot of thought into it. I am an analytical person and needed information and answers to my questions before making my decision to proceed. I met with the Irwin's and they patiently explained the process, the filing timelines, their fees and offered compassionate and practical advice on what to expect with such a complicated divorce. A year after meeting them, I realized I had done everything I could to save the marriage, came to the conclusion to divorce, hired the Irwin's, filed my paperwork and proceeded with the case. The nature of divorce is very emotional and can be extremely challenging, so it was important that I had a team of attorneys to rely on to give me good practical and experienced advice. Kelly, Mark and Chelsea were exceptional in their service, professional in their manner with my ex-husbands attorney [especially when he decided to resign from the case!] and were respectful of my time and budget, and had compassion and clear direction during those high-drama moments. They have a competent and efficient staff assisting them as well. My case was settled amicably and I am pleased with the outcome, well worth the time and effort. It was a great way to start the New Year. Thank you Irwin and Irwin!
