He is a great lawyer who helped me tremendously with my daughter’s IEP and SPED Services. He put me in a great position to advocate and retain all services through the district that supported my daughter’s needs. He is someone I will recommend to anyone who needs support with SPED services. Definitely someone I will keep in my contact book for future guidance and support if needed.

I was referred to Tony through a mutual connection. I have an Autistic daughter 4yo, nonverbal with hearing impairment. She started the PALS program and is part of LAUSD. Starting out, I was concerned about the level of attention that my daughter was receiving because she seemed to be regressing over the last year. I started a dialogue with Tony in September 2023. He identified the areas where the IEP was lacking. He helped to walk me through the process and explained everything thoroughly. Fast forward to January 2024 and we have just settled with LAUSD! We were able to get my daughter her own aide! On top of that we got additional Speech and Occupational Therapy Services! Since this is on the IEP, my daughter will have an aide for the whole time she is in school! Tony really knows his stuff and has extensive experience working with LAUSD. I believe having experience here really made the process smooth and quick. We got almost everything we asked for and are now just waiting for the new aide to come on board in the next few weeks! If you have a special needs child who is having issues with the IEP, definitely give Tony a call or message him. Even as an attorney myself, I knew it would be beneficial to speak with Tony about my child before her first IEP. His years of experience in the field, especially in Orange county is invaluable. He shared so much insight during our consultation regarding the process that only someone with his experience could provide.

I was at my wits end with lausd district. All hope was lost till I found Tony who knew the system inside and out. He was patient, knowledgeable, compassionate, confident, smart and tactful. Parents of children with disabilities are burned out. Often children like ours are forgotten and we don’t all have the fight in us to juggle it all on our own it also takes away from us caring for our kids having to advocate constantly while learning the system simultaneously. That’s why Tony is so amazing, he takes that burden off of you with his knowledge and his genuine passion to help our kids. I had a hard time keeping up with things and Tony took care of us. Don’t wait for the school district to do right by your child they are counting on you to give up. If you are contemplating legal action to advocate for your child take my advice don’t wait, contact Tony, he’s your man. Get that help, it is a long and time consuming process and your child doesn’t have the luxury to wait. My 9 year son with autism refuses to go to school in person he’s been in a virtual academy and likes it very much but still needs behavioral support. Lausd denied him his BII services until he goes back in person. My kiddo is scared to go back to school on campus so I was forced to pay someone with experience out of pocket to keep my son online. Tony got us a partial reimbursement, amongst other things and an IEE to be conducted at home so he can be evaluated for behavioral support at home. When the pandemic hit kids with BII’s lost that support and it was not beneficial to a lot of kids to have a BII online who were no longer supporting them directly. Things need to change, things need to start somewhere and the one size fits all in education is only a disservice to all kids especially for those who need more support services and accommodations. Without Tony we wouldn’t be on the right path. I urge parents to seek legal help, I highly recommend Tony for the task, don’t do this alone. You will look back and wonder why you didn’t do it earlier.

Tony assisted me in advocating for my son, who has special needs (autism) by addressing issues with LAUSD regarding my child's IEP, and he vigorously fought to ensure my son's continued enrollment in school, as well as his access to the necessary educational support. In dealing with our kid's issues with school and their lack of helping our kid, we consulted Tony's office. Tony called back right away and helped us in dealing with the school's and the school district's bureaucracy to get our kid in the right programs.
