Highly, highly recommend Nicole Valentine to any fellow nurses or nurse practitioners who are having issues with the BON. Being in any legal situation is intimidating, but Nicole was so helpful and took the time to walk me through the legal process from beginning to end. She would call me amidst her busy schedule to prep me so I felt prepared at each step. It sucked to be in the position we had to be in, but I felt so reassured knowing I had Nicole and her team to lean on for support.

Nicole Valentine was amazing. I hired her for license defense against the CABRN and CaEMSA and she helped me avoid formal discipline from both agencies. I received a citation after a wet reckless offense. The entire process took almost 2 years because the board moves so slow. It was concerning, I was worried they were doing a formal investigation and planning to put me on probation. I often reached out to Nicole who would contact the board and follow up with me about the status of my case. She helped me through the anxiety and worry and I was able to keep my peace of mind. Turns out the board just took forever to get a copy of police reports. In the end, all was well, only a citation! No probation!
