Nicole Valentine did a great job providing a collateral consequence letter that helped reduce my DUI to a wet reckless. She also contacted Human Resources for me which helped make the process a lot less stressful. I appreciate the effort she made in protecting my teaching license.

I was referred to Daniel Thompson at Goyette & Associates as someone experienced at representing current and former California State employees before the California State Personnel Board. Due to his experience he was able to set me straight on what to expect in a few minutes, which saved me a lot of time and trouble. I asked him to read a Stipulated Settlement Agreement produced by the opposing party; he was able to explain the implications of each paragraph and confirmed that the language was standard and would protect my interests. By the way, his office can quickly sign you up as a client and can take payment over the phone so you can get the best legal advice ASAP. Dan responded very promptly, was calm, professional, and explained things in a straight-forward manner (did not condescend.) I highly recommend him.
