I never thought I would need to hire a lawyer, I was nervous, not sure what questions to ask, what to expect. From the very first conversation I had with Amy she made me feel comfortable, she was very informative. Amy and her staff answered all of my questions and I had many, answered all of my emails and phone calls. I never felt ignored or that my case was of low importance. All documents were well prepared and always made sure I felt comfortable and understood before filing anything with the court. Attorney Montes is, simply, the best! She's smart, dedicated, caring and has a tremendous amount of fighting spirit!! She's one of the good guys/gals. Amy took on my now fiance' s divorce and child custody case after he had dug himself into a hole due to an incompetent attorney. Amy was an answered prayer! She took on his case, was able to effectively deal with his (now) ex and her experience got him custody of his daughter. She doesn't know how to quit and is able to think on her feet, plus effectively deal with (crazy) opposing counsel. We owe Amy a tremendous debt of gratitude, and can absolutely not imagine being where we are today without her tireless effort. Amy Montes is the best!!

Sometimes things happen to us that are out of and beyond our control and that's when you need someone who knows what their doing and is good at their job. I searched the internet, spoke with friends and even interviewed a couple different lawyers before signing with Mrs. Montes. She did a fantastic job on my case and the results amazed me and worked out in my favor. I would highly recommend Amy's firm to anyone going thru a divorce. Oh, and her prices are very reasonable.

I was dreading hiring a divorce attorney and I had hear horror stories about bad divorce attorneys that just take your money and don't work for your benefit. When I first met Amy, I was not sure she was able to help. But after all her hard work and persistence in getting all of my divorce proceedings and filings (including restraining orders) out of the way, I was so impressed by her and her knowlege of divorce laws. Amy is honest, compassionate, sincere, and very caring and loving too. She is always reachable by phone too and easy to get a hold of. I don't know what I would have gotten from my divorce settlement had she not been my attorney, and Amy really impressed me with all that she did for me. If you are considering a divorce, or need an attorney dealing with family law, don't look for another attorney. Amy is the one and only attorney you will ever need. Her prices are very reasonable and she made all this happen for me for a single mom with three kids.

Amy represented me in a very difficult divorce. I was actually looking for a lawyer through this site "yelp". Her ratings were high, but I was a little hessistant because I have a restraining order against me from my ex wife at the time. My ex wife had custody of my kids and I lived 500 miles north in San Francisco. Amy was wonderful and took so much time in my situation. I am thankful to have chose her and her staff. It is very difficult for a single father to gain custody of his 3 kids and especially relocating them 500 miles north. Whats even more difficult is that I have a disturbing the peace charge and restraing order against me and my ex wife used every bit of this advantage to try and knock me to the ground. In the end, Amy was able to convince the court that my kids were best to live and relocate with me. Thank you Ms. Montes and your staff for making this happen.

Ms. Montes was professional, detailed and personable. She considers the clients wishes and does her best to follow within the law. She is also very considerate of the children which was important to me. I would recommend Amy for future work as her and her staff are very attentive and cost conscious all while being results oriented.
