I had reached out to a few attorneys and left messages and the Moshtael Law firm was the first and only office to reach back. I met with Navid and after a few key words he said, I knew this was the office I wanted advocating for me. James Wellman, another fantastic attorney and part of Navid’s great team, has been handling most of my case. I couldn’t be more satisfied and grateful with all he’s done.

When I first got served with Divorce papers I thought my life was over, then I called Navid and he assured me that I was not going to go through this alone. Now I am no longer nervous I am no longer scared that I will loose everything I ever worked for. Navid and his team will fight for me to the very end and help me keep as much as possible so that I don’t end up living in my car.

No one knows Family Law like Navid Moshtael. He is at the top of the "game". He knows the law, Civil Procedure, Contract Law, and all nuances of what is needed to successfully negotiate with opposing counsel and the judges. Navid did what a dozen family law specialists, at the TOP OC law firms failed to do in 12 YEARS of my divorce farce--get my trial order finalized, and ultimately a final settlement. Many of the OC Judges and a few Court of Appeal Justices are complicit with certain attorneys to game the system and, as one Judge said when awarding attorney's fees, "this is how we keep the system going". The "system" is broken, and I'm grateful that Navid was there to navigate the absurdity.

So happy I found Navid and his team. My divorce has been going on for over three years and finally with Navid I can see an end to this madness. In my case, he’s like a covert bulldog,  taming an obnoxious opposing attorney. He’s honest, genuine, humble and respectful with the judge. He knows what he wants and how to get it before even negotiating. He knows the opposing counsel and how to frustrate them to the point where the attorney is yelling slanderous accusations at me out of pure frustration. Ultimately, exposing their true colors, true intentions. I initially filed 2 months prior with a firm that could not handle the aggressive tactics by opposing counsel. They had bartered deals behind my back that I can never undo. That will forever impact myself and my children. That’s the unfortunate reality of poor counsel. Navid looked up my case # & he knew exactly what was going on like it was the oldest play in the book. He pointed out my demeanor... frazzled, shocked, scared, unfocused, disorganized and told me straight up that I “had a lot to learn,” and he was right. Unfortunately divorce is rarely about “sitting down & amicably negotiating what’s in the best interest of the children.” Family law has many flaws and many weaknesses. It’s human just like the rest of us. Many attorneys play off those flaws and if you aren’t careful in choosing the right representation, the facts are lost & the children become leverage, leaving you in a mountain of debt, just because you want out of a highly volatile, conflict riddled marriage. Trusting your representation and knowing they are making decisions based on your best interests and the best interests of the children is paramount to all else. I trust Navid because I have seen first hand how he handles my case in & out of the courtroom. My spouse and his attorney (a well regarded, OC family law “bulldog”) were somewhat horrified upon learning who my new representation was. It immediately felt like there was a new sheriff in town. The response was instant and many things shifted to a more fair playing ground. Still have a long road, but I know my kids & myself are in good hands. My father recently hired Navid Moshtael and his team as a replacement to handle his divorce which has been going nowhere for over 3 years with a different attorney. If you are seeking excellent representation there's no need to look any further! Moshtael Family Law is my 4th Family law firm/attorney in my 4.5 year divorce. Prior to Navid Moshtael and Christie Mulligan, I had attorneys who did absolutely nothing in my case, but wanted money and more money with zero results and time just passing. Knowing my case was stale with my 3rd attorney, I was researching numerous attorneys once again. Long story short, in my search I had come across Moshtael Law and read the reviews. The judge even told Navid that he is a very good attorney while we were in court. Navid is a brilliant attorney! He's a visionary and knows exactly what needs to be done.
