Mr. Dieguez acted promptly and professionally whenever something pertaining to my case needed to be done. He was also kind and understanding to my situation. When dealing with the other party, Mr. Dieguez defended me aggressively and made it very clear that he was not there to play games, but to come to a prompt and fair resolution in my favor. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone seeking legal help with an employment issue. Should I ever have another legal issue I would even reach out to him for a referral because I trust the kind of attorney he is and can only imagine that he works with and knows like minded attorneys.

I thought I would find that the AVVO review was enough to help and good enough to aid me in finding a good workman's Comp lawyer. But gush, I was damn wrong. And that's why this review is important for me to write. I had the most HORRIBLE experience with this attorney "Marcelo Dieguez", I am still in the state of shock for the way I was treated by Marcelo! I went to his office for consulting and possibly retaining Marcelo for my case. He briefly spoke to me and left me in the room with a pile of documents and forms to sign. I started reading them before signing, as is my RIGHT to make sure I understand everything in the documents that he put in front of me before signing them. Among those documents, I found some contradictory statements in his fee agreement and his duties with what he had promised he will do for me. There was a clause about his commission which he had told me would be %15 but in his fee agreement, it was saying it could go to %33!!! Also, there was another clause saying that he would send a non-lawyer representative to the hearings instead of himself!!! So when he came back to the room I asked him about those clauses and needed some explanation, as anybody else would, but instead of answering my questions, he suddenly throw the documents at me and got up and said, you know what, I don't think that I am the right attorney for you, your case is not worth my time, and while he was leaving the room, he said: no wonder you got fired...This must be the reason for them to fire you!!! When you have a work issue and you feel your company has let you down as a person, it's time for you to look for professional help, the last thing you need is an attorney that has no respect for his clients. This man definitely is NOT the kind of attorney you need on your side, he is dishonest, rude, unethical and unprofessional. This guy has no human decency. You should NEVER hire him, even if he works for free!

I really needed legal help and contacted other attorneys who were either unwilling to help or lacked legal knowledge. I came across Mr. Dieguez and had a positive experience. He really knew his law, I got the help I needed, and he resolved my problem. I feel like he gave me my life back.
