UPDATE: On 06/12/2020, I had another win with Mr. Wishart. As my son got older, I needed to put him in a private school. I faced denial from the mother with no reason. I reached out to Mr. Wishart and as usual, he was happy to assist. Mr. Wishart did a great search on possible schools and presented them in way the court couldn't turn away from them. He cross examined the Mother and showed that she was not prepared. Due to his flawless argument, the court has granted me sole legal custody in all education aspects. Thank you Mr., Wishart. Mr. Wishart has been representing me since August 2017, I can't be more happier. After he got me 50/50 legal custody in 2017, it was time to get 50/50 physical custody. His arguments are flawless; he presented the court with the facts and evidence the court needs. He got me 50/50 custody. He stayed after the hearing for hours making sure the order is typed up and clear to avoid errors. Mr. Wishart, cares for his clients. He is very knowledgeable. He work and study the case before trial. He is an honest man. He will be always my attorney.

This review is for David Booth. I read a review by a separate client of David and it rang a bell . Same issues . I found David to be very knowledgeable and understanding . He did not push, but advised with the pros and cons of any decision moving on . David is what we all want in a lawyer strength and humanity. I had a very difficult divorce case. I worked with Jonathan Mason, and the matter was complicated, and the former partner was a maniacal and slanderous person. She filed a DV without any cause, but knowing the uncertainty of what that means, I sought out this firm. The result ended in my favor, and it was completely dissolved. Without going into details, there was no way I could have had this result alone.

As a single father, the system can feel stacked against you. Brett Wishart's office has done a great job for me, and in spite of my complicated move-away custody case, in the end I was awarded sole physical custody of my 6-year-old son. They had a detailed approach to the legal arguments and case law, which our judge found to be useful and persuasive, and also made sure to incorporate the personal information that made my case (and I'm sure every case is) unique, giving me the comfort that everything that could be done, was being done, and giving the judge the best possible information for making a good decision. Personality-wise, Brett and his associates' demeanor is confident, professional, organized, and friendly. Many attorneys advertise an aggressive "bulldog" persona, and I felt more secure with the collected approach Brett Wishart takes - getting aggressive when necessary, but always staying in control. It's very easy to get emotional in divorce and custody cases, but an attorney should be the voice of reason, and that is what worked best for my case, reassuring me that my goals were reasonable, and achieving them. Finally, they were up front about estimated costs, and didn't nickel and dime me with extra charges.
