Cameron has the heart of an angel! He went beyond professionalism and actually cared about me and my son. His ethics are stellar and he’s the kind of person you are proud to associate with. Cameron changed my perception of an “attorney”. I am forever grateful to him and am honored that he represented me in the manner he did.

UPDATE: On 06/12/2020, I had another win with Mr. Wishart. As my son got older, I needed to put him in a private school. I faced denial from the mother with no reason. I reached out to Mr. Wishart and as usual, he was happy to assist. Mr. Wishart did a great search on possible schools and presented them in way the court couldn't turn away from them. He cross examined the Mother and showed that she was not prepared. Due to his flawless argument, the court has granted me sole legal custody in all education aspects. Thank you Mr., Wishart. Mr. Wishart has been representing me since August 2017, I can't be more happier. After he got me 50/50 legal custody in 2017, it was time to get 50/50 physical custody. His arguments are flawless; he presented the court with the facts and evidence the court needs. He got me 50/50 custody. He stayed after the hearing for hours making sure the order is typed up and clear to avoid errors. Mr. Wishart, cares for his clients. He is very knowledgeable. He work and study the case before trial. He is an honest man. He will be always my attorney.

Our custody/ family law case has dragged out for almost a DECADE. We were worn and weary. I did a ton of research and had seen Cameron and his associates in action in court. I called their office and was connected with Dallas. From the moment I explained the background of our case and my concerns, I was blown away with how attentive he was to what I was telling him. He did not push, but advised with the pros and cons of any decision moving on . David is what we all want in a lawyer strength and humanity. His representation brought the case to a favourable conclusion for me.

I had a very difficult divorce case. I worked with Jonathan Mason, and the matter was complicated, and the former partner was a maniacal and slanderous person. She filed a DV without any cause, but knowing the uncertainty of what that means, I sought out this firm. The result ended in my favor, and it was completely dissolved. Without going into details, there was no way I could have had this result alone.

I was initially referred to Cameron by a friend. He knew I was hurting, and needed proper legal representation. He even agreed to pay for my initial consultation. When I first met Cameron, I wasn't sure how I felt about anything. I trusted that my friend would not refer me to anybody but the best, so I set an appointment. When I first met with a Cameron, I was rather surprised at how calm, and reassuring he was. It did concern me a small amount that he might get gobbled up by the opposing attorney, who had been around for a longer time than he had. Cameron quickly put me at ease, He thoroughly explained to me exactly what to expect, and what was going to happen. He told me exactly what he needed from me, and what he wanted me to do. Surprisingly, he even gave me tips on how to keep his bill lower. Wow!! Now to the point of my review title. When we arrived to our first court hearing before the judge, I was still a little concerned, Once court proceedings started, I all of a sudden I had a completely different person representing me. Suddenly this soft spoken, kind person turned very aggressive in my defense. I found him to be extremely well prepared, and not intimidated in any way, shape, or form by the opposing counsel. Time and time again he cut the opposing counsel off at the pass. He did not let the opposition slip anything past him. At my age, I have seen many professionals work, and I know how confident a good professional is at what they do. I found Cameron to be extremely professional, and could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. I was utterly shocked at the entirely different demeanor that was presented once we got to court. From that point on, I knew everything was going to be ok. I was right. Later on he even slipped in a little used clause into my final decree, that could save me tens of thousands of dollars. I owe my friend a debt of gratitude for referring me to Cameron, and trust me, I have, and will refer Cameron to my friends, and others that might need his services. Oh, and by the way, I was so satisfied with Cameron's representation that I would not allow my friend to pay for that initial consultation. Thank you Cameron for your aggressive defense, and calming demeanor. Both made one of the worst time of my life, bearable.

As a single father, the system can feel stacked against you. Brett Wishart's office has done a great job for me, and in spite of my complicated move-away custody case, in the end I was awarded sole physical custody of my 6-year-old son. They had a detailed approach to the legal arguments and case law, which our judge found to be useful and persuasive, and also made sure to incorporate the personal information that made my case (and I'm sure every case is) unique, giving me the comfort that everything that could be done, was being done, and giving the judge the best possible information for making a good decision. Personality-wise, Brett and his associates' demeanor is confident, professional, organized, and friendly. Many attorneys advertise an aggressive "bulldog" persona, and I felt more secure with the collected approach Brett Wishart takes - getting aggressive when necessary, but always staying in control. It's very easy to get emotional in divorce and custody cases, but an attorney should be the voice of reason, and that is what worked best for my case, reassuring me that my goals were reasonable, and achieving them. Finally, they were up front about estimated costs, and didn't nickel and dime me with extra charges.
