I hired Mr. Mamola to create a trust and a will for me. He was late for the appointment, but as the joke goes... He sent me a form. I answered the questions. Then all he did was print off something from the internet called WealthCounsel. He didn't even write it himself and didn't know what it said. When I asked questions, he clearly couldn't answer them or cared to look them up. I had the same experience as many reviewers here. I ended up wasting thousands of dollars, threw away the trust and hired another attorney. STAY FAR FAR AWAY.

I am shocked by the vile and vindictive reviews of the last few posters. This is NOT my experience with Sam Mamola. He is a lawyer who makes house calls when you are unable to make it to his office. He is a lawyer who shows kindness and compassion when life is dealing you a bad hand. He is a lawyer that will fight for you right now and worry about getting paid later. He is a lawyer with a strong sense of family, and he treated me as if I was a member of his. I can tell you he is a hood man and a good lawyer. If only there were more like him. The results he got for me in my case far exceeded my expectations, and I could not be happier. I highly recommend him for all of your legal needs.

He cashed my check, and did nothing, agreed to, in our legal services agreement. He created more of a legal problem, than I had before I engaged him. He would not even return my phone calls. Run...Don't walk to a legitimate attorney. This man should be disbarred...

Poor service with a bad attitude. 1.0 star Posted by anonymous Sept 12, 2018 After Mr. Mamola failed to competently represent me in my trust litigation he then had the gall to make excuses for his short comings after he failed me. He often failed to follow procedural guidelines / requirements and displayed a lack of either an interest in preparing for trial and/or the necessary skills to effectively litigate a trust case at trial. At one point after losing my case he blamed me (his client) with much condescension for the outcome of my case. If you are looking for an effective litigator then I suggest you avoid (like the plague) Mr Mamiola.. Don't waste your time or money.

My wife and I consulted with Mr. Mamola on a matter involving my parent's trust and my inheritance. He initially scheduled us for an hour consultation, but that quickly turned into two hours with the volume of documents and issues we had to discuss. After considering our situation, Mr. Mamola suggested that instead of initiating a lawsuit, we retain him, have him contact my family member who was the other side of the dispute, and seek a resolution. We did just that. While we could not agree initially, Mr. Mamola got our matter before a retired judge at a place here in Orange County called JAMS. The judge was extremely knowledgeable in inheritance cases and was able to, with Mr. Mamola's help, get all of the family to a common ground where we agreed to settle our differences. No litigation, no court costs, and the entire matter was settled in under six months! And at a small fraction of what a lawsuit would have cost. Upon receiving my inheritance, I contracted Mr. Mamola to draft my family's estate paperwork. I had no idea how much was involved, and how many decisions we had to make. But again, he got us through the process at a fair price, and completed everything he said he would do on time! I have nothing but good things to say about this lawyer. My family and I now consider him a friend. We couldn't be more satisfied with our results!

I had the same experience as another recent reviewer: Mr. Mamola simply didn't transfer my property into the family trust he created for us. I imagine this is a straightforward matter for him but we could not get him to actually do it. Now I'll need to look for compensation and help elsewhere.

After Mr. Mamola failed to submit the proper paperwork to finish my Trust and spoke to me with much condescension I hired another Estate attorney. I soon realized how many stones Mr. Mamola left un-turned. Don't waste your time or money.

Sam Mamola is the "best of the best" and I say that from personal experience. The "Prenuptial Agreement" and "Trust" he created for me prior to my marriage proved impenetrable by my husband's divorce attorney who made every attempt to break it. His legal advice also helped me to save my home during my divorce. Mr. Mamola also created a very thorough and high-quality "Will and Trust" for a widowed member of my family. His advice was from the heart, always true and brilliant. Count yourself lucky to know him. I highly recommend the Mamola Law Firm!

This is our true experience with Mr. Mamola: My wife and I are in our early 60's. We hired him to set up a Living Trust to protect our house from Probate. We met with him and prepared the Trust. We felt very confident and I do believe he is a very smart guy. But...his "Package" included the transfer our house into the Trust Name. This was a major factor for us in using an Attorney. Eight months later I checked the Clerk/Recorder's website and saw it was NOT Done. Following numerous attempts to contact him (No Response), he finally emailed; told me the Clerk/Recorder was several months behind in postings. I checked with them and that was NOT TRUE! I tried to contact him many more times to get this done for us. He would not return emails or phone calls. Eventually he did send us an email saying he would check the Clerk's Office and let me know. That was the last response I received from him despite several more attempts to contact him. Nearly FOUR WEEKS later, I downloaded the form from the OC.GOV website and, with help from the Clerk/Recorder's Office people, prepared and filed it myself (total cost $6.00). We paid this man a LOT of money for a service which he did not fully perform - and then did not even have the courtesy to return my calls or emails. It was like after he got our money, he didn't want to be bothered with us and finish what we paid for. We were unprotected for nine months and, fortunately, nothing happened to us or our house would have gone into Probate. I like the binder and documents he gave us, but could have generated the same documents with my $60 Willmaker Program. Without our house protected from Probate, there was little point to our Trust. Sorry, but for these reasons I will NEVER recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Mamola was nothing short of excellent. He assisted me with the formation of a corporation to provide asset protection for myself and my family, in the event of legal action against the business. Low and behold, a short year later, my company was the subject of a frivolous lawsuit. Mr. Mamola assured me (correctly) that my family and I were safe from having our personal assets seized as a result. Thereafter, he developed an aggressive strategy of defending my company against the action. I must say that he was thorough and complete, and after a lengthy negotiation period with the opposing lawyer, Mr. Mamola was able to settle this case on my behalf for substantially less that the legal fees required to continue the fight -- not to mention the risk that always exists when you go to trial. I can safely say that my family, my business, and myself have a lawyer for life in Mr. Sam Mamola. Our heartfelt thanks. The R.P.M. Family

Mr. Mamola has proven to be professional individual. He is very responsive and knowledgeable when it comes to resolving my issues. He has demonstrated de willingness to work with me and explain each detail. He will go out of his way to give me the best possible level of service. I was frustrated after calling 3 other attorneys and not getting a response. The Mamola Law Firm was the only law firm that returned my call. Mr. Mamola is very professional and knows his stuff.
