Cline APC provided me top notch representation for my lemon law case. They are true professionals, notably Brian and Shawnee. I was actually outside of the state of California for the entire time that this case was litigating and did not need to meet them physically, just several phone calls and lots of emails back and forth. If you own a potential lemon, definitely call Brian for your free consultation. By the time I called Brian, I was getting absolutely nowhere with the manufacturer: they never returned my calls and my car had been in the shop for over 6 weeks (with no estimated fix date in sight). I was extremely frustrated and did not have anything to lose at that point. The initial phone call with Brian gave me lots of clarification on my situation including the arbitration process and payment/expenses compensation. I decided to go with Cline APC at that point and it was the absolutely right choice. One thing to keep in mind: take detailed notes. The more detailed notes you keep, the easier you make it for everyone. So if you're reading this now and you haven't started - write everything down, keep all your email correspondence, make a detailed timeline of events, etc. Something else I'll mention is it took far longer than their initial estimate of 30-90 days to settle... the case took well over a year to settle and for me to receive my settlement check. Much of it was due to the pandemic but a lot of it was also due to back and forth delays between the courts and manufacturer.

My experience with Mr. Brian Cline was simply amazing. Please follow along with me for just a moment. If you are wondering who can help you, I assure you… you have found the right person in Brian Cline.
I purchased a used car in 2015 and from the day that I brought it home, it had problems. I took my car back to the dealership time and time again. Finding the time to keep taking the car into the service department became such a hassle and trying to make the service department manager listen to me was an incredibly infuriating experience. After taking my car into the shop more than 5 times in less than a year… I knew that it was time to look for help.
I spent days and days looking over Lemon Law Attorney sites in the San Diego area. To be honest, all of them looked pretty good. They all had great reviews including Mr. Cline. But for some reason my gut kept directing me to Mr. Cline’s site over and over again. I felt nervous because I had no idea if I actually had a case and just thinking about acquiring help from an attorney seemed scary. Finally, my bravery kicked in and I sent a letter to his office detailing my experience with my car. Here is what happened next…
The very next day I received a kind response from his office stating that it sounded like I had a case. I was given a small list of items to gather and send to the office via email (repair orders, any email correspondence between myself and the dealership, copy of the warranty from time of purchase, sales contract, etc…)
Once those items were sent in, his very delightful assistant, Ms. Shawnee Cummings, set up a phone call between myself and Mr. Cline. I spoke with Mr. Cline on the phone and he was so patient and kind in explaining the steps and procedures. He answered every question that I had. He shared examples of possible outcomes and he also shared that sometimes this can be a lengthy process. After speaking with Mr. Cline-- I knew that I had chosen the right person to help me. I signed a contract stating that he would be representing me.
His office did all the dirty work. They sent me copies of everything that they were doing to help my case and THEN a short 8 months later it was all over with! He fought on my behalf and I was awarded a FULL BUY BACK! My car loan is completely paid off and I was given a check to repay me for all monthly payments plus other fees!
I wish I could say that this was all just about the car and the money. But for me…this is so much more than that. During this dark time of dealing with an unsafe vehicle, I knew that I couldn’t get my little girl to the hospital when she needed to get there. I have a 10 year old daughter with significant health complications and I, unfortunately, had a very scary moment of not being able to put her in the car and get her to the hospital. Thank heavens, everything worked out, but this just shows how important a reliable vehicle is. But now, I have a wonderful down payment to put towards a new, reliable and safe vehicle. This provides peace of mind and that is priceless.
I could never, ever express my gratitude enough to Mr. Cline and Ms. Cummings for their dedication to my case and for the care and fight that they put into getting the best results.
I can’t wait until COVID fades… meeting these two spectacular people and giving them the most heartfelt “thank you” in person is at the top of my list.
If you are reading this review because you need an attorney to help you, please don’t hesitate to call Brian Cline for help. Mr. Cline is simply the best and he will take good care of you as he did me - I can promise you this.

At a time when no one in the Bay Area wanted to hear me out about my case I was so distraught and I was racking my brain about what to do about my car when I saw that Brian was in San Diego I got a little discouraged but I took a chance!
