Alise is down to earth, straight forward, and truthfully knows the disability system inside and out. We tried first on our own to apply for disability for my daughter, and it was denied. At that point, we hired a health care advocate to help us with the appeal, The appeal was also denied. At that point, I went online and researched disability attorneys in San Diego and was very impressed with Alise. Hiring Alise was the best decision, she was able to call Social Security and reason with the staff to review their decision, and my daughter was awarded disability. I am very thankful to Alise.

I had received a letter from SSDI stating I had gone over substantial Gainful Activity two years prior. As a result, I was threatened with a two year overpayment and removal from medicare. After a one hour interview she was empathetic, understood my case and told me how she would handle my case all on contingency. The resolution of my case was that SSDI had made an accounting error and all my benefits were restored. She is extremely knowledgeable and fair.

Alise was knowledgeable and kind. She guided me thru a very confusing and difficult process. My disability was almost taken away but she helped me keep it. I have and would use her services again if necessary.

After two SSDI applications were denied I realized I need to have a lawyer represent my case. After Ms. Kellman reviewed my medical records and prior applications she then advised me what else would be needed to appeal my case. She went to court with me and when need addressed the judge on my behalf. Her communication with me was timely and helpful. I was awarded SSDI.

I hired Mrs Alise Kellman after I applied for Social Security benefits and I was denied by the SS Administration. I have a number of health issues that have prevented me from working the last seven years. Alise listened to me and felt she could help me with my case. Alise is a very honest, funny and caring person. And most of all she was very easy to talk to. She was always readily available either by phone or email if I needed something or just had a quick question. That was so important because this is a stressful and lengthy process. Her Legal Assistant, Edward Gorner was so nice and quick to offer any assistance when needed. Alise genuinely cares about the people she represents.

I was turned down by disability and went to Alise Kellman to help me to appeal. From the very first meeting Ms. Kellman was kind, efficient, knowledgeable and smart. She helped me to gather all of the relevant paperwork and documents, kept me informed as to the progress and met with me when necessary. I never felt alone or confused. We recently had the hearing and Ms. Kellman was a terrific advocate for me, strong but appropriate. I would have been lost without her. We got a favorable outcome and I will be forever grateful. Ms. Kellman is a gracious and empathetic person and I highly recommend her as a lawyer!

I went to see Alise about my grandson who is disabled. We applied for SSI but were turned down even though we had many records of his problems. His disability is hard to understand but when Alise met him she said SHE could see what his problem was. She then asked us to have him tested by someone she recommended. We got the results. Alise handled everything else. We went to court and they reversed the decision. She handled it so well. About 3 years later we applied for SSI for my other grandson who had been diagnosed with autism when he was very young. He went to an early intervention school program when he was two and a half. He was in special ed classes throughout his schooling. He graduated. He still had problems but when we got the decision back we were amazed that they said he was fine. THe courts had him go and get testing that lasted less than one hour! We again went to Alise and she advised that we get testing by the same person that tested his brother. We went back into court after many months and he was awarded SSI right away. As before after giving Alise all the background paperwork that we had on David, she handled all the paper work. Alise has helped us so much and I would recommend her highly.
