She was extremely knowledgeable of the response process as a whole and took the time to understood the nuances of my circumstances. I appreciated how she explained the firm's workflow to me without sounding like a robot, then guided me through the process of obtaining the additional support and information necessary to adequately mitigate the matter. She has a keen eye for detail and is responsive, thorough, and technically astute. Lastly, I was undecided in the beginning about whether retaining an attorney for this matter was worthwhile, but the finished response/work product I received made a believer out of me. If you receive a Statement of Reasons, from the DOD as to why it is not consistent with the national security interest to grant you a clearance, hire a competent legal team to help you! If you think you can do it alone, you are probably wrong. I faced this situation, and there was a favorable outcome granting my clearance. I have Tully Rinckey and Managing Partner Ryan Nerney to thank for it! He is extremely knowledgeable on all facets of DOD Security law, and understands how to build a case to give you the best chance of obtaining favorable outcome.
