Hired a forensic accountant but failed to apply the findings to help my case. Lost a Million Dollars. Old case, but one that deserves remembering. He made over $50,000 but was more concerned about his fees than my case. All of my settlement was in retirement annuities when I had children to raise and retirement was over 20 years away.

Hired Gary to handle my divorce case. The first free consultation went very well, and Gary seemed very helpful, knowledgeable and eager to get onto my case, but after I paid him he did nothing for my case put push paper. After 18K+ in his fees still nowhere near my case resolution.
I've instructed Gary in-mid August 2021, by mid-December and only because I was reading more on divorces, I learned that he hasn't submitted an important document. I asked for it to be submitted, it was promptly done, but by then I lost 3 months and potential payouts IRO 12K+. Early March 2022 at a hearing, before and after Gary was calling my husband completely wrong name, moreover, he submitted the documents to the other side and the court with the same completely wrong name. In several emails he kept calling my husband this wrong name. I had to correct him, and the documents were re-done and re-sent. After which he could not pay attention to spell correctly an easy English name! Moreover, he just denied the whole thing and I had to copy paste his own emails to prove him wrong.
During the whole process with Gary, he would be asking the same questions about the same timeline that was discussed back in August 21 when the retainer was signed and kept billing for this "email correspondence". He seemed to be finding it difficult to grasp simple timeline / facts, mixing those continuously. His secretary was very efficient at billing. Following one of the hearings I asked Gary to see if we could settle and he would not wait for my responses to his emails, that would be literally several minutes. He would make his own decisions and talk / consult with the opposing attorney. This was a typical way he dealt with my case from the retainer. He would not ask for my opinion no for my input, would not explain the process. He was also socially awkward. I've never met with him in person. The only one time I did see him in his lobby, he knew who I was but never came over and talked, there were only 3 persons in the space at the time - his secretary, him and I. I should have fired him much sooner.

I am involved in a complex conservatorship litigation that requires some guidance in the area of family laws. I spoke and worked with so many attorneys. I was so fortunate to have found Gary. He was honest and genuine. He was able to point me to the right direction where other attorneys were only making matters more complicated and did not have the client's best interest at heart. I would highly recommend this Gary. He has earned the highest honor out of all of the attorneys I worked with. Out of 5 stars, I would give him 10.

The divorce process is a stressful and very unpleasant time and I had no idea what to expect or how it works. I was lucky to have found Gary and Carolyn to guide and advise me. With their help I was able to get my divorce finalized without the need for a trial. I highly recommend them to anyone finding themselves in the unfortunate situation of needing a Family Attorney.

I hired Mr. Beeler after my first attorney charged me $3000.00 upfront and told me i could expect temporary support of $2460.00 per month. Then, just before my court date he called saying i had used up my retainer and would need to replenish it before he could appear in court for the filing of my OSC. No OSC means no spousal support. I was totally broke!!! For over a year I scraped by, dealing with no money at all from my soon to be ex husband until finally i managed to afford another one.
Mr. Beeler, who is a horrible thief of an attorney, was actually referred as part of the "Modest Means" program. Through the Orange County Bar Association, residents of Orange County who are unable to afford legal assistance and who meet specific income guidelines are screened by a LRIS Representative and then if qualified are directed to attorneys who agree to assist them at substantially reduced rates.
Well, after my screening they sent me to Mr. Beeler. When we had our consultation I explained to him that I needed support from my husband and he assured me that all would be taken care of. Instead of demanding a $2000 - $3000 retainer up front though he was willing to take "whatever i could afford". Before i knew it, I was paying him all I could. Apparently the $2900.00 I paid him just wasn't sufficient from me, because 2 days before my big court day he quit for non payment. Just like that. I had a bill outstanding for $400.00 and I had no more money so he quit! I had to show up to court "in pro per" which means I was my own attorney.
It was the worst day of my life. i was so nervous about being in court with no attorney and i completely lost focus. My husband's attorney suggested we sit in the cafeteria and try to come to an agreement BEFORE we went before the judge. He said its better if we agree so the judge doesn't have to make the choices because anything could happen then! BIG MISTAKE! They had me so worried about losing custody of my daughter, which was actually just a game they played because I didn't know any better! It was horrible! I actually left that day feeling pretty good because I managed to get half custody (primary physical custody) of my daughter and 1 year of spousal support.
It wasn't until later that evening i realized i had forgotten all about the $50,000.00 we had in the bank that i was entitled to half of as well as back child/spousal support! I filed for divorce in Sept. 2006 and finally went to court in June of 2008. That's about $50,000.00! Add that to my half of the $50,000 in the bank... I should have been awarded $75,000.00 that day. Thanks Mr. Beeler!
I never did recover from all that happened that day... Please think twice before hiring an attorney and putting your whole life in the hands of someone who's only doing it for the money... because if you make the wrong choice it could cost you everything in the end...

Gary Beeler handled my divorce with the utmost professionalism. He walked me through every step of the process. This was the hardest thing I ever had to do and Gary was right there with me. At times I felt like I was his only client. He was always available when I had any questions. I highly recommend Gary Beeler.

Gary was amazing in handling my custody case. He worked not only for me but for the best interest of my daughter. He was able to prove the judge wrong a couple of times and get what we knew was right. I highly recommend him to take on your case. He will fight for his clients and get them what they want/need!

Hiring Mr. Beeler who took over my Divorce after my first Attorney got paid and didn’t care about what was in my best interest she just wanted it done and over with. Mr. Beeler saw that my ex was keeping assets from me, he did a great job sorting out what was messed up by my first Attorney and I came out better than expected. Thank you Mr. Beeler for looking out for my best interest. I had my day in court, couldn’t of done it without you and your team. Thank you

Gary Beeler was wonderful to me and my girls. He didn’t “sell” me anything. He gave me everything straight-up. I honestly was hoping to use one attorney for my divorce, but given my ex-husband’s personality (being cheap and mean), it became necessary to obtain an attorney that would fight for me every step of the way. My ex-husband knew I would file for divorce at some point and therefore, had a plan to quit his job (saying that he “retired”) after I announced I wanted a divorce so that I would have to pay him spousal support. Didn’t work!!! Obtained all of my ex’s performance reviews at his last job; which indicated no evidence his job was threatened. Gary saw right threw him and knew a judge would too! My ex also tried to get Right-Of-First-Refusal to parent my girls on my time. Nope…denied! No court! He doesn’t need a fancy, swanky office. Fees are not crazy. He’s a no-frills kind of guy and won’t put up with anything. He’s your man! Thank you Gary and Carolyn!!!

Hired Gary to handle my case. He sounded good on the phone consultation but after I paid him he did nothing for my case put push paper work. When I tried to get updates on my case the only person I would get a hold of was his secretary. She does not know the law and would never get back to me on the key the key issues of the case. When Gary did go to court all he did was extend my case costing more money. I would look elsewhere.

I was so thankful that I found Gary to help me with my complicated divorce!! I own my own business and my wife's attorney was burying me in paperwork before I found Gary. Because he is a former CPA, he knew exactly what documents I needed to produce for the complicated discovery requirements that Opposing Counsel was demanding. During the trial, It was extremely helpful that he had so much experience and had been in front of our judge many times. The outcome was just as he predicted. Call GARY BEELER if you need a GREAT attorney!
