If you're reading and contemplating this, yes, you need a lawyer. I had a catastrophic accident that rendered me disabled, and my social security disability claim was denied twice. There was one problem, even though my claim was valid, unless you speak the language of the system it's going to spit you out. Mr. Marks not only speaks that language but has a working relationship with the adjudicators and offices you'll need to navigate. Speaking as an ex Marine and 15 year construction worker, I appreciated the fact that Mr. Marks is blunt, upfront, and not full of b@llsh!t. He'll let you know where you stand and what you should do. You'll get a forthright and honest, objective evaluation on your claim and proper representation.

There aren’t enough words to describe the class act that Jeff Stivers is. And this is coming from someone that he didn’t even defend. Jeff is my ex-wife’s attorney who presented a very strong case against me and why my actions in the past should present limitations in the time I wanted with my children. As time went on Jeff took time out of his busy schedule to talk to me in an attempt to do what’s best for his client but more importantly my children. Today the relationship I have not only with my children but with my ex-wife is the healthiest it has ever been and this extremely positive change has a lot to do with how Jeff handled this situation. He’s much more than an excellent attorney, he’s a caring human being that will go the extra mile for you. My only regret is that I didn’t hire Jeff first. ;). Thank you Jeff for everything you have done for me, my children and my ex-wife. I appreciate you more than you know!!!
