Sylvia and her company are far from professional. They received payment for assistance and have yet to provide any form of work for this. Not one paper has been filed, not one email sent in communications to my family to update us on what is going on. Sylvia and her company are now ignoring our phone calls and not returning calls. This woman informed us that if we did not move quickly to start this process to acquire custody of my stepdaughter that we in turn could qualify for child neglect. With these words we did whatever possible to secure the funds and pay her immediately only for her to take the money and run. I will now be proceeding legally to obtain our money and find another lawyer to assist us with gaining custody. She truly has negatively affected my stepdaughter in ways i cannot explain. I know legal help is expensive but the frustration and headache this agency would add to your situation is not what you want. Keep looking, keep saving but don't settle for this.

Stay FAR AWAY from OC Legal Self-Help Center! Sylvia Garcia is extremely unprofessional, took advantage of my family and ended up costing us several thousands of dollars for her "services" while doing absolutely NOTHING! She acts like she knows the law and knows what she's doing when in fact she is completely incompetent. What a waste of money and time. Shame on Sylvia and OC Legal Self-Help Center. You shouldn't be in business.
