If I was able to not give a star I would , this man was always late , literally had a closet in his office ,when my boyfriend got arrested we were never given any information about his sentancing , he would also contradict himself a lot all they cared about was the money , I’m usually never the type to throw shade but please don’t waste your money that’s all.

I was referred to Daniel Hernandez by my therapist. Daniel, and his entire staff are not only direct but also explain every step down the road. I had very candid conversations with Daniel, which I believe were for him to really know what were my intentions from the beginning. He fought for me, and my son. Daniel does not sugar coat anything for anything, but also does in a very professional way. I am completely thankful to Daniel, and his entire staff as he got me and my son everything that we came in for. When I first came to see Daniel, I was very unsure of how to proceed and even thought to hold back and not be as aggressive. However looking back, I am thankful and appreciative of the advice that he and his entire staff provided me. I told him what outcome I was looking for, and he delivered!

Mr. Hernandez got full custody for me, after my son's mother started missing visitation and let my son's schooling be a non priority. He told me upfront it would be almost unheard to get full and still managed to. He peeled back every ounce of data and won the case. My family can't thank Mr. Hernandez enough. Attorneys get a bad wrap. Not this guy. I trust him with everything I have.

Dan was very straightforward with me about my divorce & custody issue and told me that his goal was to get me "from Point A to Point B" with the least amount of headache for us, which would also keep my case from spiraling out of control and the cost of things from doing the same. I appreciated that because, from what friends have told me, many attorneys in the AV area will try to hold onto your case to squeeze every last penny they can from you and, with Dan, this is not the case at all! So his honesty and realistic approach was sincerely appreciated. If you're primary goal is get your issue resolved in a realistic and timely manner, then I would suggest giving this guy a call. Great attorney and made me laugh when I needed it!

In Steve's previous position as Assemblyman, he was a far more effective Advocate, for obtaining for our National Guard Armory on Ave. G, the support we needed to rebuild our HVAC, so as to make our Armory half way liveable during our monthly Unit drills. Sorry to see to see the adverse reviews posted regarding his practice as a Family Law specialist. If this is the norm for my close friend Steve, he risks greatly, severe discipline from the State Bar, charges, including abandonment of his Clients, as well as other allegeable violations of the Business and Professions Code, and other enforceable provisions of the State Bar Act. Steve if your reading this, please take heart. Your far too valuable to lose.

WARNING ! Do not hire this lawyer ! Wish I could select 0 stars. Very unorganized and unprofessional. Hired him for my child custody case and 1st day of having my file, he spilled coffee all over it. He Doesn't know how to keep track of the clients payments, so make sure to keep your receipts ! Another wrongful act that he did was file a restraining order against the wrong person. Smh.

He is completely unorganized and doesn't communicate well with clients. We even made appointments and he forgot why we made the appointment and had nothing ready for us. Gave us another appt, made us wait a hour and sent us away when he finally arrived. Worse service ever. He's more concerned with a spot in office.

Mr. Hernandez was very helpful to me through the divorce process. When I had my initial consultation with him, I was impressed by his knowledge and his realistic outlook with regard to my case. my divorce was simple. my ex-husband and i just wanted to get a divorce and go our separate ways. mr. hernandez and his main assistant matt filed our paperwork on time and put everything through without any hassle. when his staff needed my husbands signatures, they worked with him and were polite toboth of us. in the beginning i was afraid to hire an attorney because i heard horror stories from friends who did in the past involving paperwork and such. but my divorce process went smoothly and im glad i invested in an attorney because of all of the paperwork which was confusing (my 1st divorce). im just glad its behind me now and i have started over.
