Bankruptcy is a difficult thing to face. When I called other lawyers, they wanted money before they would even talk to me. Stuart Lim was fair, listened to my concerns and took care of everything. He made a difficult situation so much easier.

In the time that H&F have represented me (over 10 months trying to settle one case that was already 6 months old), I have spoken to my lawyer in person once and by phone 2 more times. They never return my calls and it takes several e-mails for anyone from their staff to respond. After speaking with a few other bankruptcy attorneys, who told us we may not qualify for chapter 7, or that we may have to sell our home, my father gave us Stewart Lims phone number. Some friends of my father had recently filed for bankruptcy and hired Mr. Lim as their attorney. They were so happy with his service that they gave my father one of his cards in case he ever needed an attorney. After briefly speaking with Mr. Lim, we drove all the way from Hesperia to his office in Long Beach. The drive was worth it! He looked at our situation and told us not to worry, that we do in fact qualify for chapter 7 and that we will be able to keep our home!! What a relief!! The initial paperwork was simple and we spent less than an hour in his office. He treated us with respect and was very friendly. What a nice guy! He made the whole bankruptcy process very easy for us and always kept us updated. Well, it's over now, and we now have peace of mind and a fresh start!
