I am a senior executive at a large company here in Orange County. Having received a separation offer from the company, I was looking for an attorney to manage the negotiations and potential claims I had in the case. Ms. Kim was incredibly responsive, reviewed my separation agreement, and evaluated my case in a thorough and professional manner. She gave me suggestions and ideas as to how to best manage a complex negotiation. The most amazing part is she did all of this without charging me anything. She told me that it did not really make sense to have her get involved in something that I could do myself given the facts in the matter. It is very difficult to find an employment lawyer who will represent employees. Most of the large firms only want to deal with employers because of the continuing revenue stream. Ms. Kim is a tremendous exception. There are lots of "ambulance chasers" who will tell you they will represent you in an employment law matter, but they are all contingency based and only want to talk if they think they can make significant dollars off of your case. I found Ms. Kim to be honest, knowledgeable, and acted in my best interests instead of her own. That is a rare find in the law profession these days and I am truly appreciative to her for her help.
