If I could go back in time, I’d tell myself a few things: (1) the divorce is tough and the last thing you need to worry about is if your attorney is smart and has your best interest at heart, (2) custody conversations don’t end after the divorce especially when it’s a contentious divorce, so I need someone who can advocate for my kids and me with a clear understanding of the law and our rights, and (3) the best thing I ever did for myself was hire Shari Anhalt – she’s sharp, tenacious, works fast, knows what she’s doing, and is worth every penny. She’s successfully navigated me through some really choppy waters so that my kids and I can heal, enjoy life and thrive.

This review for Caroline Kim and is long overdue. I contacted Ms. Kim in the middle of a very long divorce battle. After firing my original local attorney, Ms. Kim was highly recommended. I was taking a big chance because Ms. Kim was not a local attorney and she would be subjected to small city corruption as she was taking a chance of her own in having to face such corruption. When seeking new counsel, I required an attorney who was fair yet firm, so I knew Ms. Kim would be the perfect fit for my case. Ms. Kim sent out an email to the other counsel within days of initially speaking with me. She had reviewed quite a bit of information in a very short period of time and started working for me immediately. I was impressed with her knowledge of the case. It felt like she had been working for me the whole time. She did a lot of research to familiarize herself with the way my county court ran things. Although, my case should have been settled with ease, the opposing attorney and local judge had their own agendas. The opposing attorney (also the Pro-term City Mayor) was very difficult to get a hold of and had the judge in his pocket. Motion after motion that Ms. Kim would file, nothing went favorably to our side. I was ordered to pay an outrageous amount of child support and alimony plus attorney fees for my husband. However, she didn’t stop fighting for me. Ms. Kim, is a SHARK!! She never gave up and continued to fight for me and for justice. After successfully excusing the corrupted judge from my case, (something that is unheard of in our county) our case was finally heard fairly. As my case has taken many turns due to a car accident I had early this year, I have been unable to pay my part of the attorney fees and even without payment, she has not blinked an eye at representing me and driving over 6 hours to appear in court. My case is still not over and with that being said, Ms. Kim is still fighting for me. It goes without saying; divorce cases are extremely emotional and very difficult. Ms. Kim has been able to keep me on track and temper my emotions through the entire proceedings. . She has honest with me and always gives me the best advice. Contacting her offices was never a problem. If you want someone in your corner with DIGNITY, Professionalism and HONOR, I would highly recommend hiring Caroline Kim for any of your family law needs as she will go to Bat for you.
