Mr Matsuk was hired to take care of a civil matter that was impeding the process of my son enlisting in the Navy. In a short time, Mr Matsuk was able to successfully negotiate the withdrawal of the complaint. My son now has now completed the enlistment papers and is awaiting his date of departure to basic training.

Quite a crowd of onlookers gathered on that November evening in 2015 to watch my arrest after failing to accept the need for breathalyzer testing which had been demanded arrogantly, I felt, by the "officer in charge". I had already failed the attitude test miserably, you know the one where you are supposed to become a wimpy submissive girlie man based on the authoritarian tone of said OIC. After asking what my options were in lieu of testing and being informed that I could simply surrender my license for a couple of years I chose that option. I told the officious OIC in question that I could afford a driver, no worries.
I was then immediately arrested for public drunkenness. This puff chested little dweeb refused to answer when asked if it was because my car cost more than his annual salary. No girlie man here, so off to the Long Beach jail I went. Sometime later I offered to take the test, which I was unable to pass, failing in fact by a very small margin. Leonard informed me, to my amazement, that blood alcohol levels continue to climb for more than an hour after your last drink and I probably would have passed if I had complied with the officer's request when initially pulled over. But what the heck, are we mice or men?
I knew I was in danger of spending 10 grand if convicted, plus loss of license, restrictions, insurance rate hikes, as well as the social stigma of being a drunken killer loose on the highway. The more I thought about it the worse it became. My anxiety was approaching the need for a couple of weeks of restorative work on the psych ward of my choosing. I made inquiries with trusted friends, a couple of whom suggested Leonard Matsuk. A call was placed, an appointment arranged, and I began to feel a little better.
Leonard's approach was direct and straight forward. He laid out plans for both fighting the offense in court and the possibility of a reduced charge. He, and his staff, were quick to return calls and provide quotes for all facets of my defense. Eventually all was decided in court exactly as he had anticipated on our first meeting, the outcome my now well informed self was also expecting. It was uncanny how Leonard predicted what prosecuting attorneys would do at every turn, meeting them prepared and confident. I felt I was very well represented and was provided timely and factual information as to how the courts operated. Leonard even offered to include a defense at a DMV hearing at no additional charge. He appeared, again at no additional charge, on a ticket issued 30 days after the 1st matter for driving in the initial 30 day restriction: all praise to our ever efficient DMV. I mixed up the dates. The charges were (1) driving on a restricted license, and (2) speeding, 82 mph on the 605. Definitely driving license suspension time and perhaps a little jail time to awaken the idiot within. All charges were DISMISSED.
Regardless of your situation, innocent as a lamb (the story you tell your wife), or guilty as sin (the story you tell your attorney, Leonard), DO NOT GO TO COURT UNREPRESENTED. Only a complete wanker shows up without an attorney if there is even the remotest possibility of even one night in jail. Don't do it. Call Leonard.
My experience is similar to those who referred me on to Leonard's practice. We all needed a knowledgeable lawyer of integrity, of strong character, of substantial experience in the local courts, a man who wouldn't require us to hock our gold teeth for settlement of his charges, and importantly, a man of the world experienced enough to use every last loophole, trick, and guise known to mankind. I'm a little older than he, mid 60s as of now, and I've seen my share of the belly of the beast if you get my drift. Leonard knows the drill, period!
If you need to understand your OPTIONS and want the WORRIES about your grim future TO DISSAPEAR, if you need an ear biting Mohammed Ali type heavy weight in your corner, and you're looking for a superior representation in the South land courts at affordable rates, believe me, Leonard Matsuk is your Man.
Cheers,

Tim is an excellent attorney with above average work ethics and one of the most compassionate attorneys in the legal field. He will get results when nobody else can. If you need an attorney that will represent you with your best interest at heart, and always explain the process as you go through it, I highly recommend Timothy O'Reilly.
