Very unprofessional. I answered his questions as well as I could. Once I started asking him questions about his average rates, success rate, average time frame, etc. he refused to answer any of my questions. He explained the information was on his website, which it was not and then hung up. I would not recommend at all. I have never had a lawyer act so unprofessional. He obviously does not need any more business.

My wife had a permanent bar from the country with no waiver permissable until 10 years spent outside the united states. We hired Mr Lerner after the 10 years in Mexico and he accepted the case. Their office is located in Long Beach but they do everything online and through mail with no problem. 3 years later, my wife has her visa and we are back in the US. So his office gets the job done for intermediate- difficult immigration cases. My complaint is that Mr. Lerner himself only does the initial consultation and you will probably never communicate with him again for the remainder of the case. And he set me up with a case worker who was not a lawyer to answer all my important questions and complete crucial paperwork. I was constantly worried that the caseworker didn't understand all the aspects of my case And he was always having to volley information to the other certified lawyers and back to me which was really annoying. We even caught him making a few mistakes on paperwork which was very stressful. If we didn't catch it it could have set us back by years. I'm talking about getting dates wrong, misspelling last names, and crucial grammar errors on official USCIS paperwork. The actual certified lawyers in this firm make it really hard to communicate with them. There were times when I just wanted to call and talk to them on the phone but all I could do was send an email and wait. When you're stuck outside the country and you have important questions that are time-sensitive that is really inappropriate. And when I wanted to talk to Mr Lerner himself, forget about it. Worst of all, when I voiced these issues and concerns to his office, they literally threatened to cut off phone communication with me or possibly drop the case if I didn't stop complaining. This is the worst kind of abuse and control one human can have over another in an already desperate and marginalized position with no defense. All in all they got us back to the United States. But it was really bumpy along the way, unnecessarily stressful on us, and I would have dug deeper to find a more professional firm if given another chance, instead of a firm that relies on social media and YouTube to bring in clients.
