Jeff helped me so much, I had a car accident my insurance didn’t cover and he helped me settle with the insurance company. He was so helpful and explained everything to me. I have spent over a couple of years (mid 2019-2021)searching for an expert Criminal Law Attorney that will not only accept, but who will actually provide insight, keep me updated, and provide true results, regarding a difficult and complicated “Determinate, Post Conviction” criminal case for a loved one in prison. After going through many, many attorneys, some telling me nothing could be done, some telling me to let it go and let my family member serve his time, some telling me they would take the case but no promises, or it was extremely expensive and I wouldn’t be able to afford it (true!), some giving me false hopes, etc. I didn’t nor wanted to give up and still kept looking for a “miracle.” I was blessed to be referred to Attorney Jeffery Le Beau of “Peacock & Le Beau Law Firm”. He gave me a free “in-person” consultation, which I was very grateful for, because of it being a pandemic year. He is easy to talk to and immediately researched the case @ the Long Beach Courthouse in a timely manner going above-and-beyond my expectations. The Justice system made a big mistake & I was paying the price! I couldn't go forward with my life due to an alleged 10 year restraining order, that had no judges order as a foundation. Mr Lebeau did a thorough investigation consulting the city attorney's office, as well as LBPD, unable to find any foundation for the restraining order that was on police computers/CLETS. Mr Lebeau issued a subpeona for their records, but the LBPD warned that they would object to releasing any orders. The case that led to this restraining order had been dismissed, still, the DA intended to uphold the restraining order. This unfounded restraining order was effecting my ability to work and the system refused to produce evidence to support it! Mr Lebeau presented his investigative work and my background case that was dismissed to the judge, not missing a single relevant fact. There was much discussion between the judge and the DA about how the case could have been dismissed, while an excessively long restraining order could persist. The DA held her ground, but the evidence was pitifully lacking. How could it even be an argument, but it was. The discussion in court took extra time, but Mr Lebeau was tenacious & thorough in his approach. He succeeded where other attorneys and officers have failed. In the end, Mr Lebeau succeeded in having the restraining order removed RETROACTIVELY, which will no doubt help me to move forward more quickly. Mr Lebeau was recommended by another attorney, who told me it couldn't be done!

I hired jeff for a criminal case back in 2012..... very severe charges....attempted murder being one of them.....he did an outstanding job all around.... the only reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5.... is i still ended up pleading guilty on charges that should have been dropped completely.... i believe jeff did all he could...but the d.a. put away an innocent man.... and let the real suspect go with no charges...it was a complete joke of the justice system... jeff did get the attempted murder charge dropped... but couldn't get a bail reduction after the fact(probably cause the old charges).... orange county courts are no joke. Conclusion, i would highly recommend this lawyer .. But if your case has bigger charges, i would recommend hiring more than one lawyer....or you will get railroaded like i did. This lawyer is absolutely great, and would hire again it the situation ever did arise.

Jeff is one of the honest more comprehensive attorney I've ever met. He won my criminal case trial and I am grateful for his knowledge, he was always positive through out my trial. Five (5) counts NOT GUILTY!! you want results? Hire him, you wont regretted.

Jeff is the best of the best. He’s very trust worthy, knowledgeable, caring, disciplined and patient. This just simply begins to describe Jeff. I didn’t know how he was going to save me from going away, but when I tell you he showed up in the court room and showed out. I mean he did a magnificent job in defending a criminal case against me. He is a man of integrity. He knows the law, now that speaks volume. Jeff was great, I hired him to help with my criminal case and I think it is thanks to him that my case had a good outcome and I did not have to serve any jail time. He was always easy to reach and always answered all my questions.

Jeff, represented us in two different cases. Neither were criminal, but we were extremely pleased with the results, and would definitely use him again. He is honest, competent, and fair. Olga, his paralegal, is also very pleasant & efficient.

We had multiple criminal attorneys on the case and interviewed even more, but none I would personally recomend. Jeff worked very hard directing investigators, analyzing the case and even harder, negotiating with prosecutors. He went way above and beyond what other attorney would do in such sensitive situation. All I can say, if you ended up hiring Jeff, consider yourself lucky. Hard to find someone like him these days.
