My spouse and I had 3 meetings, first with Janet, then with Janet and Dylan and Dylan for the signing Day. At those 3 meetings we really appreciated the fact that they were very patient and answered all our questions. We felt like we were in good hands.

Janet and Dylan make preparing will, trust, and medical documents easy. The documents around the trust were comprehensive, and would provide better guidance to an executor when compared to a previous trust I had set up. My only complain is the electronic copy is provided as PDF, not the original Word documents. I understand this is done to manage liability (client modifying without realizing the implications of their changes), but I still would have like to have the source documents.

We bid on an estate planning auction item at a crab feed put on by Santa Clara County Legal professionals association. Although we only paid a fraction of the service cost they still treated us like we were a very important client. The paralegal and office manager Rod Cardinale Jr. even offered to meet us closer to our home as we live in San Jose.

We just finished an engagement with Janet L Brewer in which she guided us through the process of replacing our 22-year-old wills and living trust with new versions. I can't think of anything negative to say. She knows estate law forwards and backwards, and was able to advise us that some of the ideas that we walked in there thinking that we wanted weren't the best idea. Our replacement living trust document doesn't use a single sentence from our previous document, as far as I can tell. But it incorporates our wishes and California's laws, and she taught us the reasoning behind everything it says. She's modern: she does email and PDF and such. She's a great communicator. Never once did we have to ask her to repeat something in different words so that we could understand it. Her office staff are great. Besides Janet herself, we dealt with a paralegal and an administrator, and they were both sharp as a tack, helpful, friendly, and capable. Her fee was entirely reasonable, and the amount of her and her staff's time that we got for that fee was impressive. We recommend Janet L Brewer without reservation.

Ms. Brewer was very professional and informative she answered all of our questions and acknowleged our mother's concerns regarding the issues.
