Si quieres perder tiempo y dinero a la liga estafadora debes llamar son muy buenos para engañar no sirven para nada

My dad recommended me to work with Matian Law Firm/La Liga Defensora, as he heard “wonderful things” about them on the radio. When we got in contact, I spoke directly with their Senior Case Analyst, Marvin Torres, and immediately was hit with an aggressive, and predatory sales pitch. Before our call, I had looked at their online reviews, and so I was already uneasy going into this. I asked Mr Torres, why they had so many negative reviews, and he said that people are more likely to make negative reviews than satisfied customer’s… after my experience, I believe all the reviews are true. When Mr Torres, and I spoke on May 3rd, he said that this was a “free consultation”, and that if I wanted to move forward, he was going to make me a deal of $1,500 to process FOIAs paperwork, but that no action would be taken if I chose to not move forward. As mentioned before, I was apprehensive about moving forward, due to the negative reviews, and feeling like I was being pressured into moving forward with saying yes. I told him I wasn’t too sure, and would like to see the contract. He said that he could send me the contract, once I put down $500, and then once the contract was signed I could pay the remaining balance of $1000. I asked him what would happen if I didn’t want to move forward, and he assured me that I would be refunded the $500 in full, and that the case would not be opened without signature, I agreed to this, and we processed the $500 with an understanding that he was going to follow up with me on Saturday May 4th to go over the contract, and/or whether I wanted to move forward, and process payment. Fast-forward to Saturday May 4th, the noon call never comes, and I get a receipt to my email for the remaining $1000 even though we never spoke, and I never signed the contact. They ran an UNAUTHORIZED charge on my card. I called Mr Torres to address this, and there was no answer, and no call back. Finally got a call back from customer service rep today May 6th, who leaves a message for Mr Torres, and he calls me back. No apology for the unauthorized charges, and tells me that to process a refund I need to talk to customer service. He transfers me over, a rep answers, looks into my account, and hangs up the phone. I called again, 2nd rep hangs up again. Finally the 3rd rep keeps me on the line, and proceeds to tell me that she can’t process a refund because her department can’t handle that, but that a case has been opened, and that a paralegal would call me back to go over cancellation process, and how much my refund would be, even though I had been assured that no case was opened, and that I would receive a refund in full if I didn’t sign the contract. Still waiting on call back from them, but I’m sure they’ll come back to say that now I owe some sort of fees for the call with Mr Torres, and whatever other fees that were not made clear to begin with. This really sealed the deal for me on not moving forward with them. The way they have handled this has been completely deceiving, and I will be reporting the unauthorized charges to the consumer financial protection bureau. Posting this with hopes of saving my fellow immigrants from this firm’s predatory, and shady practices.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FIRM.

Don’t do business here worst firm to work with I have been trying my legal team In regards to my case for two weeks and no one has called me back every time I call to try to speak to someone the people who answer the phone are very rude and put you on hold for a long time the only time they call you on time is when it’s time for you to make a payment

My husband works for the Matian firm apc in phoenix Arizona , form my own experience , I had the honor to see for myself how good of a law firm they are , they treat everyone with kindness and respect , very helpful human beings and from time to time as I go pick up my husband for lunch I see first hand how great they are from my husband which is the parking lot attendant till the third floor , my friend , everyone at the law firm is competent and very professional, EVERYONE IS.

Buenas tardes muchachos latinos hispanos quería dar mi opinión formal acerca de esta organización de abogados de la liga defensora toda esta organización es una organización de ladrones yo ase más de un año pague la cantidad de mil dolares para peliar el caso de un tiket por exceso de belocidad paso demaciado tiempo el nunca se resolvió me llamavan y me desian que el tiket no aparecía en el sistema y que las fotos que les avia mandado donde estaba el número de sitacion no les servía entonses elque era lo que nesecitaban tal ves que yo les resolviera el caso el punto es que agarre un carro nuevo en diciembre de el año pasado cuando trate de ponerle la aseguransa al carro que creen el tiket hay apareció perjudicandome y asiendome un aumento en la aseguransa excesivo tube que pagar ayuda por otra parte con un abogado corriente para poder limpiar ese récord y después regrese ala liga defensora para que ellos canselaran el caso que tenían con ligo debido a que no avían podido resolver nada ellos tenían que regresarme mi reembolso como ellos mismo dise. Si no ganan el caso no cobran nada pero eso es solo una mentira por que me sacaron una lista de todo lo que me cobraron son las fotos que están hay diciéndome que no recibiría ningún reembolso por que ellos avían gastado más de lo que yo les avia pagado por no resolver el caso una cantidad de 525.75 dólares más que tal ves ellos esperan que yo pague más de lo que les regale por no resolver mi caso aparte se tardaron un mes para desirme que no me devolverían el dinero que yo pague para resolver mi caso fui 4 beses a las opinas de ellos a perder mi tiempo y la última ves que me dijeron que tenia que ir por el papeleo de cancelación y nada más para desirme que ellos se quedarían con mi dinero sin aver resuelto mi caso si les doy un consejo deverian de buscar abogados independientes que ellos asen asta lo posible para resolver tus casos ya sean de migración casos legales o multas los abogados de estas grandes organizaciones son un montón de ladrones

The worst firm ever if you want a good result when you have a car accident please don't go to them, I had a bad result.

Es el peor lugar! Por favor no vayan a este lugar por que solo les van a llamar cuando necesitan dinero . Mi gente si de verdad quieren arreglar su situación migratoria investígales bien y vayan con personas capacitadas y que tengan buenas reseñas .

Do not USE THESE ATTORNEYS THEY LIE AND TAKE YOUR MONEY - Sad they take advantage of the Hispanic people My brother in law went to jail 4/4/24 and had an immigration hold My husband heard about this firm on the radio so he went to them - they told my husband they would get his brothers case dismissed and then off of the immigration hold and then work with immigration to get his brother out First they told him $5,000 - I said NO then they told him $2,500 (I still said no) but my husband paid it because he wanted his brother out- this was in 4/5 - last week they called my husband and told him - we got the case dismissed to a misdemeanor and time served and that they will update him further soon Well funny how they say got dismissed to a misdemeanor when it was already a misdemeanor charge - WTH - he would have got time served without an attorney So I checked on his brother Friday 4/19 to see if the hold was still there and it showed still Then on Sunday 4/21 I checked again - and he was not in the system in the jail anymore So I checked the ICE DETAINEE LOCATOR sure enough he was in the custody of immigration Today - Monday 4/22 - I checked the ICE detainee locator and he wasn’t showing in the system I called immigration and spoke to a lady to find out he was no longer in the US - he was deported in the morning My husband called the attorneys office - too busy but surprised they called back - he asked them what about his brother - they said - he was deported - my husband said yeah we know but yall were supposed to keep that from happening and get him out of the immigration- THEY TOLD HIM - YOU NEED A DIFFERENT ATTORNEY FOR THAT I TOLD MY HUSBAND- ALWAYS LOOK AT REVIEWS FIRST BUT HE WAS DESPERATE TO GET HIS BROTHER OUT OF JAIL AND THESE ATTORNEYS FEED OFF PEOPLES DESPERATION - ITS SAD MONEY HUNGRY FIRM
