The day I had my car accident was the day that I will never forget. It happened last February 07, 2024, around 10:40 in the afternoon, while I was driving and out of nowhere reversed into my car very hard. At the moment of impact, I was strongly jolted inside my vehicle and I hit my head on the headrest. I felt dazed and confused. The moment I confronted the driver who hit my vehicle, he was irritated and told me multiple things on the scene including that I was from a local gang. We tried to settle on our own. I went home after the incident feeling worried and anxious. There was no police report filed. I wasn't sent to any hospital nor seen by a Doctor. Since the accident, I have been feeling uncomfortable. I suffered from neck, back, and left shoulder pain. I have tried over-the-counter medicine but the pain doesn't go away on its own. By then I got a referral from Tyler to seek professional and legal advice at the Beverly Law Firm. As soon as I contacted their office, one of their staff was there to assist me. I was involved in a car accident last January 17, 2024, at around 6:50 in the evening. I was on the freeway driving home at the speed of approximately 30-40 miles per hour in a moving traffic. Due to these unfortunate circumstances, I suffered from personal injuries. I suffered from concussion, whiplash, neck pain, and back pain. With the help of the prescribed medicines, I felt a bit relieved but the symptoms persisted. My case and recovery are still ongoing but I can definitely tell how hard it is to be in the same situation as mine. The struggles, pain, and stress are beyond imaginable. It will take you many months or even years because you will be able to recover from a car accident. I've always watched this kind of event on television, in magazines, on the internet, or even in the newspaper. I never expected this kind of incident would happen to me. This nearly-death accident made me realize the importance of life. On this day, I was with my younger brother. I was the driver of our vehicle that was going straight. While driving, another unexpected vehicle that came from nowhere came into our lane, the car was driven by a woman who was driving across us, and everything happened suddenly and quickly. I should have yielded but didn't, which is why I was cited by the police. The impact was so strong that it caused my body to be shaken forward and backward. I hit my head on the headrest which made me feel dizzy and lightheaded for a second. Fortunately, I did not lose consciousness. The police who cited the incident immediately responded and called an ambulance. My brother and I were instantly transported to the Hospital while the police continued to investigate the scene. The woman who drove recklessly was put at fault. At the Emergency Room, I was examined. I had an X-ray and another type of examinations. After that, we were both released with a prescribed pain medication. I even had the chance to see a chiropractic therapist but I did not continue with my treatment. At home, I continued to feel uncomfortable. I keep on complaining of pain in my neck and back, chest pain, arm pain, and peeing blood because of a kidney concussion. The police also told us that her insurance company did not want to answer us. I hired a Lawyer for my case, and this lawyer knows what happened but didn't do anything to fight for our case. Until then, the Attorney of the guilty party knows that my Attorney didn't do anything and has not responded to us. I felt down because I did not know what to do, knowing that my truck was at a total loss. My brother and I kept on searching for another Lawyer and we found the Beverly Law Firm. They told me that they needed all the information from my previous lawyer, however, I find it very hard to communicate with them. So my case manager was the one who found ways to settle this issue. I had a referral to the pain management facility. I was recommended for an MRI of my injured parts. As of now, there will be more treatments/therapy. My case has not been closed yet. Moreover, looking back to the moment of the accident. It was very traumatizing. Not only me who was suffering from the pain but as well as my brother. We must be lucky enough because we didn't sustain any major injuries aside from the kidney concussion. It was depressing. I just wish none of this had ever happened. I was involved in a not at fault car accident where a driver ran a red light and hit my car. On December 11, 2023, I remember being involved in a car accident. I was the driver when this happened and I was with my kids. That day, I was driving down the road and had the green light. While I was going straight, another vehicle seemed to have skipped the red light and hit my vehicle in the front. At the moment of the collision, I was terrified and immediately checked my kids at the back. What was more terrifying during that day was that I was 5 months pregnant. I was really scared and the emotions I felt were so intense that I couldn't explain it. I immediately pulled over and got out of the car to calm myself and checked on with my kids. I instantly called the police and a few moments later the police arrived and investigated the scene. A police report was filed afterward. Since no ambulance arrived at the scene, I wasn't able to seek medical attention. Following the settlement with the police, we went home. Since the incident happened, I never felt comfortable about it. I felt pain in some parts of my body and I was very worried about the baby inside me. First, my car needs to be fixed and that's the only thing I can transport to work. Second, I badly needed treatment because I was depressed about the loss of my 55-month-old baby. It was like a nightmare for me. I lost the lack of interest in everything I did and can't focus on the positive side. I was devastated and sorrowful. I don't know when I will be able to recover from this incident and will forever remember that day. No one could ever understand how painful this experience was.
