June 07, 2022, the day that forever changed my life. I was involved in a car accident that was traumatizing and unexpected. I was just a passenger when the collision happened. It occurred on Sierra Highway, Los Angeles, while we were trying to make a left turn and my driver was attempting to turn left into a car wash. While completing the turn, we were struck by another driver. At the moment of the collision, my body was jolted inside the vehicle, and I was immediately shaken up and scared. The airbags were deployed. It was terrifying and I never expected any of this could happen. I immediately notified the police and they arrived. The police made an investigation and filed a police report. The ambulance came as well and I was evaluated with the personnel. After the evaluation and investigation, we were sent home. Due to this incident, I sustained personal injuries. I suffered from constant headaches, neck pain, shooting pain in the shoulders and upper arms, and lower and back pain. The symptoms worsened over time and when I moved. It feels like a sharp and constant pain. I immediately presented myself to the AFC Urgent Care where I was examined and an X-ray was obtained. Then I was referred by a friend named Eddie to the Beverly Law Firm. So I decided to research their law firm and booked a free appointment. I received a call from their office and that's when my journey started. They asked for information about the incident and they also asked me to sign an agreement. They gave me an offer for the settlement of my case and started arranging my medical treatment. I had my second examination for the proper treatment with the Amirian Chiropractic. I underwent physical examination, chiropractic manipulation, neuromuscular re-education, infrared, intersegmental traction, and electrical muscle stimulation. I have attended this therapy for a couple of weeks and a treatment plan was made. I was advised to have an evaluation with the pain management/orthopedic consultation and an MRI of my cervical spine. Given the instructions, I went to the expert MRI and I had another referral to the Orthopedic facility. As I presented my imaging results, I was advised to undergo surgery. So I underwent the surgery with local anesthesia. Luckily, I tolerated the procedure well and I benefited very well from it. I was then instructed on proper posture and home exercises. If I weren't able to seek help from this law firm, I would suffer even more. I am very thankful for these helpful and professional Doctors. Since the incident, my life has never been the same. The pain I was feeling made me feel unproductive. I find it difficult to twist and turn my head, and sitting/standing for a prolonged period was difficult as well. I always made sure to attend every treatment I had to get the maximum benefit. It's been 1 year since the accident but I can still remember how painful that day was. I want to express my gratitude to Olivia for being my case manager. She did very well and she was receptive. She managed everything to make my recovery easier. I was involved in a car accident last March 18, 2023. I will never forget that day, while I was driving on 170 Fwy in the number 4 lane at a stated speed of 60-65 mph. There was this second vehicle that was on 170 n/b in the number 4 lane, and just to the south, there was this 3rd vehicle that was driving on 170 Fwy in the number 1 lane at a speed of 50 mph. Due to the second vehicle's level of intoxication, he made an unsafe turn to the left causing his vehicle to face sideways in the lane of the traffic. Since he made an illegal turn, I did not have adequate time to react and my vehicle collided with the left side of the second vehicle. The force caused the right rear tire of the second vehicle to dislodge, roll onto the offramp, and collide with the right side of the 3rd vehicle involved. At the moment of impact, I was unprepared and I felt that my body was jolted forward, backward, and sideways. I even lost consciousness. When I got back to my consciousness, I remained in my vehicle and observed my surroundings. Then I decided to drive to the right shoulder and called 911. After a while, the police arrived and investigated the scene. The driver of the second vehicle got arrested and he was placed at fault. Since the incident, I never felt well. I sustained personal injuries, I suffered from neck and back pain, headaches, and muscle spasms mainly in the arms but all over. I tried putting nerve cream for my muscle spasms and taking over-the-counter pain medication, however, it has only given me temporary relief. As I was scrolling through my Facebook account, I found the Beverly Law Firm and read a lot of information about their Law Firm. I decided to give it a try and called their office. Each of these facilities had given me evaluation and examination. I underwent an MRI/X-ray of my cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Luckily there were no dislocations/fractures. However, due to the persistent pain in my neck and back, I had to undergo surgery which I was too hesitant to do because I was afraid. When the Doctor discussed the pros and cons of the surgery, I agreed to it. After that, I overcame my fear and I felt like I benefited very well from the surgery and other treatments/therapies. I had a long and strenuous journey in recovering from this traumatic incident. Attending different treatments/therapy was too difficult because I was in a lot of pain but I had to do it because it was the best way to recover fully from my injuries. As months went by, I observed that I developed anxiety and flashbacks from the accident. I thought about it more at night and it was hard to fall asleep. I can't focus on the things that I used to love doing. I also experience losing interest in everything I do. It's been 6 months since the accident, I am not fully recovered from the trauma yet but I am trying to be strong. To Olivia and Michael, you have been an amazing person during my darkest times. On December 17, 2018, I had my first car accident. I was a seat-belted restrained driver who was traveling through an intersection on a green light. Suddenly, another reckless driver failed to stop for a red light and collided with my vehicle. The reckless driver has no soul, he immediately fled after colliding with my vehicle. I was so mad, dazed, jittery, and shaky. During that time, I want to scream and run over that driver. However, when I pulled over there was this witness who got the license plate of the driver. I thank the witness for making me feel better. I went to the police station and reported the incident. Therefore, no police or ambulance had gone to the scene. After the incident, I suffered pain in my anterior chest, shoulders, upper and lower back. So on December 17, 2018, I sought medical help at Elisa Health Care. I underwent a physical examination and a neurological examination, and after the examination, I was recommended to use hot packs for the pain. On the following day, I had infrared therapy, intersegmental mechanical traction, and mechanical massage. I attended this treatment until April 26, 2019. However, there were no significant changes in my symptoms. So I decided to seek another medical assistance. Afterward, I met Dr. Randy Rosen, I presented my MRI results and other treatment results. I was then evaluated, and Dr. Randy made a treatment plan of physical therapy 2-3 times a week, an MRI of my cervical and lumbar spine, and prescribed pain medicine. Dr. Randy referred me to the Orthopedic Pain Management Injury Institute where all my results were assessed. Another examination was taken, and another treatment plan was made. I was suggested for chiropractic therapy, and if failure to all conservative treatments. I need to undergo cervical and lumbar facet injections. I have attended a few sessions of chiropractic treatment because I don't want to undergo cervical/lumbar injections. I really help myself to feel better. I was then re-evaluated and luckily, my body had been doing well with the therapy. I was very happy, at least I wasn't able to undergo injections because I am scared of the procedures. Due to the incident, I had difficulty living a normal life. My studies were interrupted by constant pain, and I wasn't able to attend my lessons for a few weeks since I needed to prioritize my treatments scheduled. I had difficulty sleeping at night. And during those times, I was accompanied by my mother for every treatment I had. I don't know what to do if my Mother wasn't there. I also feel overwhelmed by my classmates and teachers who took the time to visit me. Some of them brought some flowers, and food at home. Those kind people helped me recover comfortably. I am too fortunate that I didn't develop any depression, anxiety, or mental health issues. Thanks to all the positive people in my surroundings. Lastly, just wanna give thanks to the Beverly Law Firm. I was quite hesitant to seek legal assistance since my previous lawyer who handled my case never communicated enough. It was so upsetting.
