Dealing with insurance companies can be very stressful and frustrating. Even more so when you are badly injured, traumatized and trying to recover physically, emotionally and financially. This was my experience when my infant son and I were rear ended while fully stopped in traffic. The adjusters would not return my calls, often dismiss my concerns, discredit my pain levels (even though I had exams and notes from KAISER detailing my injuries), and even tried to place some of the blame on me for what their driver did. At that moment, I knew I would need an attorney to represent me. I contacted Jake’s firm and from the very fist phone call with Jake and his team, I was heard and cared for. Nancy, my case manager, helped me get refunded for the total loss of my car and with all her hard work, experience and research, the insurance paid me above market value, which was a very welcoming surprise! I was involved in an accident and the responsible party refused to pay the $2500 that I had to pay out of pocket for repair deductible, rent a car, tow fee, and insurance co-pay for hospital. I have never had to retain an attorney as I understand accidents are accidents. I didn't know where to even start. My son in law referred me to this law office. Jake and his staff were amazing and helped me every step of the way. They were very patient and understanding of my situation. When I went in for my consult, I did not go in with the thought that I would even have a positive outcome in regards to the situation. When Mr. Finkel went over it, he was up front and made no promises, he was very clear that he would try his best to get some kind of compensation for the siblings my oldest son left behind when he was tragically killed in a auto accident on his way to work.
