We won a Washington state judgment for injuries my husband and I sustained when we were assaulted in Seattle. The assailant's father in California then died, leaving the assailant a large inheritance. The assailant refused to pay our judgment or his restitution. Rich Evanns won our case using California laws and sister state judgment, despite a fraudulent transfer of the inheritance, and got us paid. ( I believe the assailant, as a result, had to pay his restitution and another debt he had owed to the State of Washington)
