I went into the situation extremely anxious and just overwhelmed with emotions. There was a lot at risk and I felt Ms. Barton was prepared. She eased just enough of my anxiety that I was able to get through it and she quickly gained the confidence of my family. This was truly a much better experience than compared to the previous attorney I had.

I would like to share my story about our attorney Veroncia T. Barton. My grandson and I went to meet her about a year or so ago. Immediately, I felt Veronica was a very compassionate person. I'm just a grandma taking my grandson to meet an attorney, in hopes and praying we get a good attorney. Considering I have a history of volunteering with specific communities East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights, to help other kids stay of trouble and stay in school. Few people truly understand the real world for these kids, being with no support and no fairness, sadly, usually no mom or Dad's in jail. After all these years that story never change. It's basically, one fight after another. So when we heard Veronica respond to my grandson Abel, we both knew she was the one! Without hearing the challenges and struggles of my grandson life, Veronica asked all the right questions, she understood the big picture and knew immediately what he was facing. Veronica is truly a rare precious human being. She is a stellar professional. Her caring ways inspired by grandson to do better, try harder, do not go backward. No words can express our appreciation of her as a descent person she is. We owe Veronica for taking the initiative get the Abel's story right. Every parent or grandparents pray for a good attorney, we all worry if the attorney's are they doing a good job?, are they viewing our kids fairly? How hard will they fight for us? Because Veronica has strong characters, ethics, intergrity. Thank you God, we won our case. She is a very rare person.
