I had to do a lot of leg work in the beginning and that was key to winning the case/settlement at the Fed DOP hearing. Overall it was a good experience and I was thankful he was helping me. I really appreciated his skill in obtaining a higher settlement than I could have. He even repaid the initial consultations fee from his portion of the settlement payment. He didn't have to do that and I was thankful. A skilled attorney especially when dealing with labor rights and federal government!

I paid this guy $3,200 and he did absolutely nothing! Oh wait, let me correct that. He took my money and asked me to join his Amway pyramid scheme, which I foolishly did. Every time we met, we discussed how to sell the products and build a customer base. When asked for a itemized list of how the money was spent, he refused to give me one. I had to go to the state bar association, which of course cleared him of any wrongdoing.

I ended up firing Attorney Grant for nonperformance. He didn't show up to appointments. He would cancel last minute. He didn't respect my schedule or time. He did absolutely nothing he was hired for. I filed a grievance against him with the Washington state board of attorneys. He never returned his files to me for the work he claimed that he allegedly did nor did he ever provide me a detailed invoice like I requested of him. I'm still waiting for an update from the state board of attorneys on the status of my grievance against him. He kept my money and had the audacity to claim I owed him 3 k more when he never was able to provide a detailed invoice even. Do not hire him. He's unethical and did nothing for which he was hired/paid. Now I'm stuck fighting him and with no help to deal with a sexual harassment case I hired him for. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing yet he took my money, did nothing. It was additional trauma I didn't deserve to have to deal with and I'm still stuck with dealing with him because he doesn't do what is right. He's acknowledged that he's terminated as of 12/13 and he withdrew but he hasn't refunded me my money, returned my files for the work he supposedly conducted, never gave me a detailed invoice, never did anything at all for which he was hired, he didn't follow the protocol an attorney should and messed things up. What he did do was bill me for meetings where he did absolutely nothing, referred me to a counselor who he uses for his cases who was just as shady as him and the one form he sent in had grammar errors, spelling errors, facts wrong about incidents, and he just copied hand written notes thereby also revealing confidential matters protected by attorney client privilege to the opposing party that I've since had to fight through without a lawyer. He hasn't done the decent thing and refunded me my money, acknowledged that he's been disciplined by the Washington state board of attorneys or at the least contacted by them for his misconduct. He hasn't given me his files or the detailed invoice so as I want to hire a new lawyer and need a lawyer he stands in my way even though he's fired. I have to deal with the possibility he might try to come after me if I win my case alone even though he did absolutely nothing for me, nothing! He did damage to be so now I have to deal with fighting him in small claims court, hiring a malpractice attorney and suing his liability insurance. Battles I don't need and don't want but will have no choice but to have to take given his lack of professionalism, ethics and nonperformance. I needed help not another battle. He admitted having caused me trauma/harm and yet he doesn't do the right thing.

Mr. Grant came to me highly recommended by members of a union. My rating is somewhat chilled by the understandable feeling I got from him regarding money. Mr. Grant was very gracious to have considered my case at a fraction of what his usual fee schedule demanded, but was very clear that this venture would have to be fruitful for him. However, I was dissapointed on a couple other levels. First, Mr. Grant seemed to have to "warm up" to the case, only showing relative interest when I was accosted by the opposition on a fact-finding mission. Second, Mr. Grant filed a suit on my behalf with little discussion about a plan of attack or numbers. Where I was looking for straight-talk about my case, what I was left with was a sense of how strong my case was by way of his interest level...which seemed to decrease quite rapidly. Finally, my sense was that since I had not lost my position (which I have paid much to maintain), that there was to be a unattractive pay-out at the end of this venture. As I recommend him, I would also look around and consider others. As he represented me fairly, I would say there is better out there.

My son used Mr Grant to represent him in a motor vehicle accident claim. Mr Grant settled the case but failed to pay the medical bills. Now my son owes over $400.00 and Mr. Grant will not return my phone calls. I have left several messages over a 3 week time period. I am very unhappy with his reluctance to do the right thing and I don't feel like he should be able to screw over his client like this.
