Working with Barry Kaye was probably one of the best decisions we made as a family. He always made sure to make himself available to address any of our concerns. Barry Kaye helped me in a time when I was injured, anxious and somewhat frightened after my car was totaled from being rearended by a pickup truck. The biggest thing wasn’t the money in the settlement or even getting all the medical exams and physical therapy covered but rather the confidence of knowing that someone was in my corner and would be with me to take care of whatever problem the accident would cause. I was rear ended on an exit ramp by a pickup truck on my way to work. I saw the truck coming in my rear-view mirror and he wasn’t slowing down—Would he slow down?—and then impact. I was shaken up, and then the caustic smell of the white powder-- fumes in my throat. I didn’t lose consciousness. I called up my insurance agency and they asked me to tell them what happened and then told me that they would help me when they found out who’s responsible. If I hadn’t been so shaken I would have become enraged. I was a sitting duck. How could I possibly have been at fault? How could they even suggest that I was at fault when they’re my agent. I became very scared. Now I was hit from behind and the insurance company was acting like I was responsible for it. How was I going to feel tomorrow? Who was going to be able to help me if the leasing company, and my insurance company or the driver came after me? Barry Kaye had helped one of our close family and she told me I had to talk with Barry Kaye. He listens, and he understood what I was going through. I had talked with an insurance agent, a police officer, a paramedic and a doctor but the one with compassion was Barry Kay and he helped me be able to think clearly. He helped get my life going again right away. I’m a surgeon, I had to get back to work the next day. Knowing that he would help me gave me the confidence to get going again. I knew I had someone in my corner who would help if there were any attempts to get at me from my own insurance company, the car lease company, and even the driver of the car in front of me whom I had been plowed into. He arranged for independent medical exams and treatments including physical therapy, electro stimulation and thermal therapy— there were more options as well. All those were covered. Knowing you have someone in your corner made all the difference in the world. Hopefully you never get in a car accident or any other for that matter, but if you’re injured or even if you’re too shaken up to know how injured you are, then you owe it to yourself to make the call to Barry Kaye.

Car ran red light and t-boned us; we landed wheels up. My wife was hurt and I was lucky. Barry's skills and caring turned this mayhem into a very successful claim against an under-insured driver. His skill and caring were evident every step of the way. We are glad to have this behind us and much of that is due to Barry's efforts and success.
