He served as our lawyer for my wife’s K-1 Fiancé visa to enter the US and then her adjustment of status to permanent residency after our marriage. We hired him just as the pandemic started for a process that would ultimately last about 18 months. My fiancée at the time was living in her country, Belgium, and he was the only lawyer out of the four I contacted to request her presence in the initial virtual consultation. The K-1 visa process was delayed for months due to the pandemic, but John called the American embassy in Brussels continuously to ensure we would be one of the first to get an in-person appointment.
