Due to the pandemic, the USCIS process took longer than expected. However, John informed me as soon as there were any updates from USCIS, and he regularly touched base with me to address my concerns. The process went smoothly. Initially, I got my renewed green card. Then I was invited for the naturalization interview. John helped me prepare, and I passed the interview without any problems. He served as our lawyer for my wife’s K-1 Fiancé visa to enter the US and then her adjustment of status to permanent residency after our marriage. We hired him just as the pandemic started for a process that would ultimately last about 18 months. My fiancée at the time was living in her country, Belgium, and he was the only lawyer out of the four I contacted to request her presence in the initial virtual consultation. The K-1 visa process was delayed for months due to the pandemic, but John called the American embassy in Brussels continuously to ensure we would be one of the first to get an in-person appointment. During the process, he has been super responsive, responding to phone calls and even emails late at night.
