Before I met Sonia Figueroa I was quite disappointed, I met many lawyers and I felt I could not trust any of them, the greed some lawyers have is very overwhelming. Now a days is very hard to find honest people. Sonia is a woman with a strong ethic, and good intention, besides having great knowledge about immigration . She will not lie to you. I was convicted for misdemeanor two years ago and I thought all my chances of fixing my immigration status were over, however, she gave me the right information to get me set and work towards my ultimate goal. She gave me hope and real facts. I really trust her , and I recommend her she is truly the best.

Sonia helped me and my wife and made a really complicated process seem easy and not as scary and overwhelming as we had thought it would be. She was very knowledgeable and professional while also being warm and friendly as she took her time to make sure we were prepared for our process. Highly recommended!!

We filed for our green card through marriage. From the start the paperwork was more than we could handle. Our idea of filing by ourselves went out the window when we saw how each forms were thick and needed to be submitted at separate times correctly or the process would have to start all over again. The fees were so reasonable compared to what other lawyers would even do for their clients. We had simple payments. Sonia helped us gather all proof we needed and showed us how and where to do so. She followed up with us just to make sure we were doing okay while the process took long. She would make the calls for us and handle all questions when we couldn't. She had us meet her and we worked as a team getting to know the strengths and weaknesses of our case. I felt she really believed in our love as much as we did which is rare to experience as a lesion couple. When the final interview notice arrived she set up a mock interview and had us bring our evidence of support to check a final time. She was with us through the entire interview process at the USCIS office, which let me tell you can be quite scary, but she put us at ease with her knowledge and assurance. We now have our green card and Sonia is still checking on us. We couldn't have asked for a better lawyer and experience than what we got with. She is highly recommended in our opinion!

Based on my experience, she's a lawyer full of conviction with unending support till all will be in placed. A very down to earth person, approachable, and diligent to her job as well. She handled my case very well and got approved from the immigration including my son in the Philippines. So by now I am very grateful to her since me and my son will be together here in the USA very soon. And I thank you for that Atty. Sonia! Kudos!

I had a pending case 20 years ago. She was the only honest attorney to tell me exactly how the process will work. She cancelled my deportation removal from 20 years ago. She is GREAT!!!!!!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. Great advice. I compared 8 lawyers (three from my company plan and 5 from AVVO) and Atty. Figueroa / Lee WAS THE BEST, MOST HELPFUL, HONEST, KIND, APPROACHABLE, and will work with you! She worked in USCIS so SHE KNOWS HER STUFF. Also, wouldn't you want a lawyer that knew the people in USCIS, and therefore, those people knew her too, and therefore, USCIS people would go like, "Oh yeah, this is Sonia's-- just let it through, we know her!"? A lot of the lawyers I spoke to gave me the generic "...according to the rules...etc..." or "USCIS says in their page...etc..." but NOT ATTY Figueroa/Lee! She speaks from experience, and she knows what her results are from the cases she handled, and will ensure you get the BEST LEGAL ADVICE and be the MOST INFORMED when you make your decisions. ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER. I wish ALL lawyers were like her-- NO B.S., easy to talk to, great personality, COMPETENT and KNOWLEDGEABLE, and has a great background. ALSO with a great heart and compassionate, understands YOU and your situation! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Will answer your questions truthfully even without an atty-client relationship (like the other reviewer said). Make you feel at ease, comfortable, and IS FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS. WHere can you find this kind of lawyer?!!!

I was kinda of scared to email her because for the past few weeks most lawyers have been asking me for money for information but Ms. Sonia Figueroa was amazing she i had a couple immigration questions about my i-360 petition and she give me some really good information and she was very willing to help. I was incredibly close to not being able to attend my college due to my (foolish) attempt at applying for student visa on my own. However, Mrs. Sonia helped me salvage the situation, and walked me through every single step. She even gave me a general overview of what to do afterwards. After that, she helped us greatly with the Green card application. She knew what she was doing, and her previous experience as an immigration lawyer helped us greatly. Art is very knowledgable in the area of California legal ethics and I definitely endorse him. While I always call up the California State Bar Ethics Hotline when I have a legal ethics question, when it involves making a decision, I then back it up with a call to attorney, Art Margoiis just to make sure I am doing the right thing. Many attorneys seek out legal malpractice counsel after they run into a problem--I say seek out advice to avoid problems later on.
