Was charged with a crime I did not commit under very difficult circumstances. I contacted Max through a recommendation I got, and once we met for our initial meeting, he carefully listened to my case, and saw the bizarre situation I was in. I was arrested for 245(a)(1) ‘assault with a deadly weapon no firearm’ and after posting bail, I researched the “top” six criminal defense attorneys in Los Angeles. After calling all six, I scheduled face to face meetings with only four. When I first met Mr. Max Gorby, he was welcoming and compassionate, he wanted to know my whole story and we spent over an hour and half discussing it. The one thing that truly stood out was he is the only attorney that asked me if I was alright, he cared. Mr. Gorby was confident this was not as bad as it seemed, and he assured me he could help. The other attorneys treated me like a criminal and told me that I would go to trail, would cost over $15K and would be a very long process. Even the celebrity attorney of the Stars, who I got to review my case personally as a favor from a mutual friend, did not even come out to meet me but sent his associate out who also told me how serious this felony was and what would most likely happen to me = fine, probation and possibly jail time. I knew then Mr. Gorby was the attorney that I wanted to represent me and my serious offense. Admittingly, I was not the easiest client Mr. Gorby has dealt with, I was extremely nervous, constantly called, emailed and texted him with so many questions all the time. He answered every single question and got back to me even on a Saturday. Within a week of retaining Mr. Gorby he was able to get my felony reduced to a misdemeanor. After only three weeks, Mr. Gorby got my entire case dismissed. I almost did not believe it, it was too good to be true. Mr. Gorby will fight for you, he does care about you and your case and if you are reading this, as I did when I was researching attorneys to represent your case, don’t waste your time like I did, Mr. Gorby is the ONLY one you need. Max was the best choice I could have made. I was nervous and full of questions when I called him but he knew exactly what to say to calm me down. He is very easy to talk to and he’s honest. I contacted max originally on through a business partner on my case. Max made me no promises but kept me confident in what his plan was and stuck to that plan and confidently got my case fully dismissed! I never doubted it happening due to how comfortable he stayed and through the entire process . Last important part is I told him I was willing to take a infraction on the case and make it go away.
