I have practiced land-use law in California for over 30 years, and I consider Tim Kassouni to be one of the best attorneys in the field. Tim has an encyclopedic grasp of the law, and he practices it with creativity and imagination. He understands the importance of individual property rights in a free society, and he has done more to strengthen and advance them through his work than anyone else I could name. Whether a case involves a minor property dispute or a major constitutional issue, I would not hesitate to refer any client to Kassouni Law.

As a developer, Kassouni Law is on my speed dial. They have provided advocacy in several instances when building departments and city councils have made it difficult to get plans off the ground. Without them, it's likely my residential and mixed use projects would still be stuck in bureaucratic quagmires. I was selective in searching for a land use and property rights attorney. Lawyer Timothy Kassouni is a heavy-hitter in this field. Upon reading his bio I knew I had the right person. He was involved in Lucas v South Carolina Coastal Commission, a case frequently mentioned in property law books. More recently, he prevailed in a regulatory taking action. This is unheard of in the property rights field. Without hesitation, I'd recommend Kassouni Law.

Tim did a great job for us in negotiating the use of our easement. We were able to draft an agreement without having to go to court which kept costs down and the situation with our neighbor as amicable as possible. We were really impressed that he gave us his personal mobile number, telling us to call him any time including nights or weekends. Having this type of access to an attorney and ease in communicating provided some comfort in what could have been an unsettling situation. Without hesitation, I would hire Kassouni Law again.

Used this office in September, 2019 in regards to an auto accident. Once hired, I never heard from anyone from there and the case was closed by the other person's insurance. I was on my own from the start for car rentals and Lyft. There were times that I even had to take off from work since I had mo way of getting there and back (my job is 45 miles from home). I have another law firm that I've done business with for decades and they've always come through. Instead, I took the advice of an associate and managed to lose my vehicle and gain nothing from the firm. I'd probably done better with my usual attorney, I suppose.
